I woke up today to find that my thread was removed completely, or at the very least, blocked from the general public. It was not exactly the most constructive post ever (no, it did not have profanity or swearing to my knowledge), and all I expected at the very most was to be publicly embarrassed. I was okay with this, I say the dumbest things sometimes, but I do not remember, to my knowledge, swearing, insulting a large number of people or race, or being generally offensive at all. Perhaps it was because I insulted BioWare in it? Erm, no. I have seen multiple threads where people have insulted the entire CoD franchise and the people behind it. Yes, the thread was embarrassing and stupid, but it was far from offensive. And, since I was not PM'ed about this, I am genuinely confused as to why the thread was removed.

From what I'm reading, it looks like something that would have almost certainly induced flaming and I can imagine that would have been the reason it were locked. However, I have no knowledge of this thread except for what you've said here, so I cannot answer that for you.

Your thread was basically just you calling out three other members of the forum for not sharing the same opinion as you and as such, the thread was removed.

I'm sorry, when did I call out three members of the forum? Do you mean three members of a different forum? And, opinions? Was my thread removed because I insulted other people's opinions? As far as I can tell, my thread 'called out' BioWare, not any members of any forum. Perhaps I did so within thread itself and I do not remember this, but doubtful that is the case. Besides, even if I did, that was not the point of the thread. The point of the thread was about, as stated earlier, stating my hatred for BioWare. Please, tell me, what part of my thread insulted three members of this forum, then I will agree, be embarrassed, and go on my way.

Personally i would report any topics calling a company or group a "cancer".
It sets a really hostile tone for a thread.

I don't understand why it is okay to call a company, bioware for example, a cancer, but not a race.

These three individuals are not on the minecraft forums. They are not on any forum. They are on youtube. Have you even looked up these individuals names on google? Did you ever find the time? I'm sorry, but I did not flame them, nor did I call them out as you previously said. They actually have similar opinions to me. If anything, I idealized these people. Never, in the course of my entire thread, did I shift my attention, as you said, to these individuals. I shifted my attention toward BioWare. I was unconstructive and stupid, yes, but I shifted my attention toward BioWare.

EDIT: You know what? I honestly don't have time for this. Just keep it locked.

Same here, just the topic of this thread is a sort of giveaway that it will include flaming and other hurtful things to members, not allowed on the forums. Hence it was removed.

Flaming rules apply to people inside and outside of the forums.
You are not allowed to insult people outside of the forums.

It is ugly and hostile and no different from if it were internal.

I removed your topic, because it was basically just a long, sarcastic rant; it had very little (if any) discussion value, and it likely would've just caused problems. It's not worth it to keep a thread like that open and, like jefe said, that's not really the kind of thread we want on the forums anyway.

It's a metaphor for how the company is doing bad things like a cancer cell does (spreads and kills anything else.) Races can't logically be called cancer because races don't act cancerously. That's just racist.
