Welcome to The Aether!

Looking for new staff!


What we aim to provide:
A fun experience on a new pvp server. The player will start with a basic stone tool set and will have access to many helpful plugins including Towny to protect your land, MobArena to earn some extra cash and rewards, and many more!

The server runs 1.4.6 Bukkit with a wide selection of plugins including some custom ones made by staff.

Plugins:
ecoCreature - Mobs drop money.
ChestShop - Build your own shop.
Towny - Build a town with friends.
DisguiseCraft - Disguise as mobs!
MobArena - Earn some rewards.
Essentials - Must have.
CCTV Camera - Spy on your neighbours!
PlayerHeads - Behead your friends!
Tombstone - Have a chance to get items back on death.
SilkSpawners - Pick up mob spawners with silk touch!
LWC - Everyone needs their privacy.
TimeIsMoney - Earn cash being online.
Stargate - Quick Travel.


Rules:
1. Use common sense
2. Respect ALL players
3. No Swearing
4. Be Polite
5. No 'Raging'
6. No Spamming
7. No hacks or cheats. (Includes duping)
8. Lava griefing is bannable
9. Lava PvP is bannable.
10. Flying in PvP is illegal.
11. Pvp whilst disguised is illegal.
12. Once you join the game, do /join

Breaking Rules:
Depending on the offense, one of these will happen:
1. A warning. If you are lucky, you may get a second.
2. Removal of permissions. This is only for lava pvping, flying during pvp and disguised whilst pvping.
3. Temp Ban. Usually 24 hours but can go up to 48 hours.
4. A ban.

Tips & Info:
1. PvP is enabled throughout the map. Safe points are spawn, some towns and various other regions on the map.
2. Griefing is allowed but ONLY in the wilderness and no lava.
3. Towny is here to protect your land.
4. Earn cash by selling items to the adminshop at spawn.
5. Staff will not rollback legal griefs.
6. Screenshots and/or videos are required for reporting a member.
7. Make sure you read signs at spawn, they are helpful and will get you the Member rank.

With, "What You can Offer", I mean what can you offer to the community, to the server. As in for me, it'd be getting everything set up. Building spawning and make webpages.

Any Other Experience Moderating: Heck yeah baby. I've been in staff for a long, long time. Every server I've been staff on, I've been highly committed to, and made a giant increase in the servers popularity, website, banner, and more. The first server I was part of the higher up staff, was in a server named Slime Craft. Slime Craft was a small, faction pvp server, that had little or no experience in servers, and in bukkit in general. I took that server from having 3 players to having around 20 active ones. Also, the main reason they liked me, was because of my ability to help people. I don't only help people in minecraft, but I'm a very generous and outgoing person in real also. This is one of my favorite parts of being part of staff. I love that feel of people going "Wow! Thanks! I would have been sunk without that! " and that really makes my day. I love it when people appreciate help. My second staff experience would be at a server called Foodibb. Foodibb was overall a good server. It was started up with some of my friends who wanted to try to host and run our server, and was chosen to be Co-Owner of the server. My third experience was being Co-Owner once again on a server called Mycelia. Mycelia was yet again a pvp server, but also had Towny. I know all the Towny commands through this, and other Towny servers I have played on since 1.2! XD. My last and most recent staff position is in PoliticCraft. PoliticCraft is a smaller government server. It's whitelist, and is a really exclusive server, only having around 4 people on all the time, but always changing. I was literally elected by the people, as well as the president himself, and I served a term as "Vice President", and was even trusted with the password to the Hoster console.
What You Can Offer:
As I said above, I LOVE HELPING PEOPLE. It really makes my day when people reach out to me with help, and so it's only returning the favor . I also have experience with websites and banners and using the image editing tool, GIMP. I know gimp pretty well, and can make some mean banners and websites. I can also contribute with helping configuring plugins. I'm really advanced with using some of the plugins we have on Aether, and will offer all my expertise. Also, if I had mod, I would be amazing with CoreProtect. I've used CoreProtect on Mycelia and PoliticCraft. I'm a pro with it, and can do the full extent of the plugin easily.

I've been Mod on 4 servers, Admin on 3, Vice Owner on one, and Co-Owner on three. Also, I am very dedicated to the servers I play on, and will use my maximum ability to improve and help the server.
