So I just got my Minecraft account and need help on how to use magic launcher to load FTB and use optfine.
I don't know if I should use the FTB .jar file or .exe
I don't want to modify the original minecraft.jar file ever. If it works with magic launcher fine if not oh well. Iwant this like this to have different setups for different people who will play with my accout.
so how should i go about this I do know that FTB is being updated to 1.4.6 but still want to know how to set this up.

Thanks in advance!

You don't need magic launcher for optifine in ftb. Ftb uses a multimc instance which magic launcher cannot read. Hidinginthelight made a post that shows you how to install it: http://www.minecraft...ne-not-working/

Please quote my post when you are replying to me so that you make sure that I read it.

I would need it for Sonic Ether's mod wouldn't I? I'm using v10 rc6 right now

No, the shaders work with out it. Well I use this shader mod: http://www.minecraft...lsl-shaders-of/
with the shaders by Sonic Ether. Loads just fine in MultiMC. If you have trouble figuring out how to get it to work, I have another thread that I helped someone get it installed properly.

The pictures are for MultiMC, but would work just the same in the FTB launcher.
