I dislike giving any spoilers,and so i use the function to hide a lot of my messages from those who don't want to see stuff and experiment for themselves. This,and Minecraft is Fantastically awesome!! :)

1 gunpowder and 1 dye of any color makes a simple firework star in the color of the dye you used. If you want, you can add shapes and effects to the star by adding certain materials. Check Mikirog's link for a full description.
