My friend asked me this question and i think its a good question,
Since i use 2 the same cards for crossfire i cant tell,
But he asks if he puts in a for instance 7750 with a 7850, What would happen to the performance,
Since the 7750 is a slower card with a less bitt interface.

He cannot. Only cards with the same chip can be crossfired, f. e. a 7750 and a 7770.
Spoiler:
If he does two different cards in CF, make the "first" card the most powerful one in case something cannot utilize both GPUs.

Ke thanks for the information, Which cards are able to run crossfire with his single HD7850
