Automated farm

Hi, im Creepy and i´m new on Minecraftforum. Im not english (im from Spain) so im sorry about my english level. Posted Image


The map i am showing you is the first that i upload.

It is just an automatic farm where you can plant: potatoes, wheat, carrots, sugar cane, melon and pumpkin.


is fully automated except you have to plant the wheat, carrots and potatoes.

Instrucctions:

UnZip the file and drop the content into roaming/.minecraft/saves/


Actioning the lever and waiting for about 35 seconds you can get your crop.

Very nice, useful way to teach players how to automate their crops and move toward more advanced redstone.  Good job :)

Thank you, maybe i´ll do a tutorial.
i would like to do a redstone quiz map or an adventure map i don´t really know what i´ll do.

This is nice. I have to agree It's a great way to show people how to make automatic farms, as things like video tutorials and schematics just don't work for some people.

Here's something you might be interested in then:

SethBling put out a Redstone Challenge Map that has levels, and you have to use increasingly progressive redstone knowledge/concepts to progress.  I'd recommend checking it out if you still are thinking of doing the redstone quiz map, it might help you think of ways to pull it off, or of features of redstone you might want to demo in your own way. :)

I played that map some weeks ago, i did some of the levels, but i dont know if im able to build that kind of maps, i´ll try.

Honestly, you'll never know till you jump into it and try.  I look forward to it if you do make one hun :)
