Can anyone maybe give me a list of enchanted book ids? I want to be able to sell them in an essentials shop, but I need to get their IDs.

Ex:

403:#here

or something like that. I just want to sell them using the IDs. Any answers are awesome :) Thanks

This is the exact reason I'm looking, Mcdumsuker.

Let us know if you find anything and I'll do the same.

Yes, they definitely do start at 403, but 403 with any combination I've tried is a blank enchanting book.

Same here, I'm starting to fear they can't be differentiated using ID's which would of course make them impossible to use on a global market or in a sign shop. I had been hoping to replace the Hyperconomy enchantment trade system with these books but I guess it's impossible.

Very good, thanks. If they get IDs it would be so much better in so many ways.

Thanks. For now, I've resorted to [Enchant] signs with a cost. Same end-game, but I want books.

Does this discussion help one way or the other?

http://forums.bukkit...d-books.117526/

I wish he stated more than just, "There are methods to manipulate the 'stored' enchantments." What methods?

Where can we see this NBT data for them? Could a market plugin like this which depends on the normal ID and "sub" IDs like 35:15 for a wool color be used with it? http://dev.bukkit.or...ds/hyperconomy/

I would think it would be the same as an enchanted sword. Like (diamond sword id):(insert random numbers and letters here). So for a Fire Aspect 1 Book I would believe it to be 403:(fire aspect id). Sorry for not knowing ID's. :(

Enchanted Books are stored as NBT data and Bukkit does not currently have a method to retrieve this information. Contribute to the Bukkit project or make a request.

THANK YOU for explaining to them that bukkit and external plugins can't read NBT values yet

You can use anvils to compare the item with a book
