HELP! I'm making a map and I can't figure out how to add dialogue like in "Wrath of the fallen" How do you make people talk and/or the player talk? PLEASE HELP!

HELP! How to add dialogue?

I'm pretty sure the technique you want is done through command blocks.
If you want a character, let's say Herobrine, say "Welcome" when you walk through a door, then you would have this (birdseye view):
p = pressure plate d = door c = command block
p d p
c
The command block would have the code "/say Welcome".
You can make it as though a person is saying it by doing "/say Herobrine: Welcome"
Or the person playing it by doing "/say @p: Who are you?"
So just wire up whatever you want to cause the dialogue up to a command block with /say
