Flux Capacitor

Place this on a pig or minecart to go to the Jurassic World:

Right click on minecart with the flux, then hop in. To go to the jurassic, maintain a high speed.

Slap this on a pig like a saddle then ride it to the Jurassic World.

Bones, Teeth, and the Spear

Bones and Teeth come out of all dinosaurs (at different frequencies)
you can use them as shown to craft a spear with which you can right click to hurl at a dino, or left click to stab. If you hit a dino, you loose the spear, but they pack a punch!

and just so everyone knows the plan right now is:

all lay eggs that you can take back to the present
you get back by riding the pterodactyl with a flux capacitor

Fantastic! So far look great and verry atractive... i'm most certainly using as soon as it's out! =D    U could do those tiny dinossaurs that looks like mini raptors (i forgot the name XD) they could do like 0.5 heart damage, fast and have a life of 2-4 hearts but spawns bands of 4-8... one thing though, looking at the forest i don't think that big ones will have much mobility... unless they can destroy trees ... Dunno... but this is looking really good and promises a lot! OMFG RIDABLE PTERODACTYLS OMFG! PLZ DO CONTINUE! REALLY WANT THIS!  ( . )

I've had the same concerns but I'm thinking maybe just little ones live in the dense forests. there will be a more mixed environment with spread out forests for the huge ones. ALSO - the area around the volcanoes will be mineral rich i believe .

I'm having trouble deciding, should the day cycles be longer than normal or shorter than normal?

Maybe also have some tar pits that you can somehow harvest or make tar out of the surrounding blocks
(you could take that home for some gnarly mob traps)

U can make the same forest with HUGE trees but a bit more sparce so that big ones can walk on it... long neck, tric, and t-rex... the one u got can go for the middle ones... and the small ones can be like every were... volcanos sounds fantastic! we could probably tame herbivores by feeding them like 10 saplings... ride them and use them like protection, but not carnivores (see further...)... classic triceratops vs T-rex LOL... wanna a big idea? DEEP VAST oceans with pre-historic sharks, crocodiles, long necks (LOL! NESS!)... with modern tecnology we should be able to make diving helmets... no big deal for lots of minerals since present has loads... so deep vast oceans can happen, as far as caves... land caves and underwater caves ridding an ancient shark with a helmet for exploration... OMG such epicness... nests... HELL YEAH! nests would be great... specially for dino breeding and taking care (since u're theyr mommy even carnivores would obbey u... in exchange for regular food until grow... after grown up it could just grow rougue until fed again! HELL YEAH!)... i mean... baby T-rexes... fully trainable as long as u feed them verry well since egg hatch... O M F G ! ! ! Just picture u riding a T-rex with a pack of raptors as your personal army while being backed up by your recent grown dactyls... omg... even creepers would crap themselves... hell we could really use the water mobs too... if possible u could also make a 5%-10% chance on finding them on present... living fossils WOW! make water mobs strong... i mean... make them all strong! except the tiny ones, small health, low atack, full pack at same time... i mean 0.5 of damage sucks... but 8 at the same time u're dead cuz u won't hav time to counter... i mean raptors could be in packs of 2-5 with 3 of atck and 15 of life... hell yeah they're faster than u... die with honnor or die trying to flee... OH YEAH! JESUS... SO MUCH EPICNESS... MUST... STOP... BEFORE... *Has a heart attack and dies*

This looks sick. So the dinosaur region is like a brand new world, like how the nether works?

what about making it so you can take dinosaur eggs back to the present world and they'll hatch and be tamed versions for you to ride on? finally a use for saddles lol. when you're riding them you can battle other dinosaurs and use the t-rex teeth to make dinosaur tools

Also that detail is really helpful for me and those ideas are just..       thats the only way to explain it. Another addition to the water stuff - a headlight so you can see what your doing, make it out of a shallow water glowfish - (THEY WILL MOST LIKELY BE MORE SCARY THEN CREEPERS BECAUSE THEY CAN RANDOMY JUMP AND KILL IN ONE SHOT) just a suggestion, use a bow.

I have a suggestion!

Aside from spawning upon your first entrance to the world, all creature should spawn in NESTS. If you can find these nests, you can capture an EGG, which you can incubate it somehow(Maybe a craftable nest).Each dinosaur should have a distinct NEST TYPE and LOCATION.

For example, flying dinosaurs would have a NEST on a cliff, or in trees. Whereas aquatic creatures would have one underwater, ect.

If you hatch an EGG you get a tamed infantile dinosaur which wouldn't despawn. By right clicking on the creature with food(Different species like different things) you could feed the creature, which would both make it stronger/healthier and make it grow faster.

And since having the bigger dinosaurs follow you around wouldn't be completely practical, you could, by using a BONE And STRING, craft a WHISTLE. While holding the whistle, right click on the dinosaur to set the whistle. From then on, when using the whistle, the dinosaur would SPAWN nearby. I'm picturing the whistle having a function like the DOMINION ROD from the pet mod and giving you a select commands for the beast.

Just a half assed idea from a guy who loves Dinosaurs.

you sir have just made the perfect mod... i am going to erase mo creatures and fancy pack just to make sure its compatible..yours is better anyway (sorry zhark)! haha and and for your ultimate winitude you get these   . . .   and i was thinking maybe there could be some kind of huge jurrasic bug? like it crawls ong the trees and is about as big as a log? mostly for atmosphere but you could cook them and feed them to cretain dinos? (ptreodactls and others of the sort) oh and i have this in my favorites tab and will check on it EVERYDAY!! oh and another    block for you

Wow, this sounds almost too awesome to be true! Finally dinosaurs! BTW I think that you should make volcanoes quite dangerous if the area around them will be mineral-rich. Like random eruptions with streams of lava, and ash falling from the sky to obscure your vision. It would be cool (if rideable dinosaurs are really going to be implemented) if you could make your dinosaur attack (like a ram or chomp attack) to damage enemy mobs. Maybe even use your bow while riding them? I don't really know what's possible to do. Anyway keep up the great work!

Maybe you could have giant peaceful long necked dinosaurs that you can walk on. They don't attack you on any difficulty, but if they step on you by accident, then you will die instantly. Maybe if you manage to get on one, then you can build a small house on it. Also, when you damage them enough, like down to 64 Hearts, they will start whipping you with their tails and try to stomp on you.

For the carnivorous ones, when they bite you, you die instantly, but they only bite if you are close enough, and they can't see you if you are in the darkness. And they spawn on all difficulties, but on peaceful they will not attack you.

Maybe you could put a limit to how high the flying ones can go, like Layer 108 (layer 128 is the highest you can go). And like the long necked ones, they won't harm you on peaceful unless you hit them.

*EDIT* If you do put vines, you could make them climbable but really weak so when you climb on them a few times they break, and you don't get anything from mining it. (Like   to to then they break)
