Hello Everyone,

I've been trying for the most of today, unsuccessfully to create a multiplayer server hosted on my computer. The problem is no one can connect to the server. I've tried everything I can think of or find on the internet to open the port, but according to the check port tool, it's still closed.

I've opened the ports on the firewall (just windows 7 firewall), and on my router Linksys 320N router. But still to no avail. So if anyone has any ideas on what I can try, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks,
MudDog

What are you looking for? A casual adventure server or a day trial? Some places give you a free server for adventure maps to play with your friends, some give you a 1 or 3 day trial.

Did you know that every 60 seconds in Africa, A MINUTE PASSES?

Did you set the correct port on the properties file? Does it have enough memory to run? Do you have and accuall address for it or an IP?

Nah, one thats hosted on my computer (using the server.jar from minecraft.net), just want to be able to do it as much as anything else now

I haven't changed it from the default, but thats not the problem, Right now I'm trying to open the Port for people to access the server first and foremost
