How many chests/seats?
  I believe awger added it to the mod and made it spawnable, just not usable.  So download the mod and you can check it out.  (A few pages back I think there was a picture...)

I do realize its 1.5.1, but I thought it might help to post a 1.5.2 crash log, so he knows where to start... if he doesn't already know what's wrong.

Oh, damm... Awger you know when you try making an improvised mod review so that your YT channel doesn't get suffocated under real life issues, then crash head on with a pair of mod bugs? No hard feelings, I understand this things happens and my server modpack is made by me so I could screw something.

Bug report!

* placing three punts in the crafting table doesn't make a whitehall, but a "smallboat".
* NEI says the recipe for a whitehall is three whitehalls (whitehallception!)
* placing the smallboat disconnects the client. The error message in the server log said...

Correct, this is for 1.5.1 (yes, I'm behind).  I'm updating my dev environment today, and I'm hoping I just need a quick rebuild for 1.5.2.

Not sure about that crash report (Ocelot? Really?) but I'm guessing that the reobfuscation is a little different in 1.5.2.  Should be taken care of during the recompile.

Crap... sorry 'bout that.  The "smallboat" isn't actually a boat, it's all the common code that handles creation/controlling/saving/loading/etc.  You can't actually create one and, if you try, MC will crash in spectacular fashion (as you found out).

There was a lot of new code added to stitch the back-end smallboat code to the Whitehall and Hoy; obviously I missed a few things.  I'm on it.

Don't worry, it was a right out of the oven release. I wouldn't try it if I where afraid of burning my hands. Besides, you don't get this kind of bugs when you add a new ore and some tools to match, this is serious business! Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Oh, I forgot. Somehow I managed to get out of the whitehall withough doing shift-right click (maybe I was jumping from the "driver" to one of the "passenger" seats, it may have been double right clicking on the passenger seat?). Then, until I got into the boat again and jump out correctly I was locked in the "on boat" animation. And another object called "Zero" was in NEI, not sure if it's your mod or another.
Yes, I got a youtube channel on minecraft and games, too. This one is in spanish, though... Oh! And a server, with it's own modpack.

Hmm... you wouldn't happen to have log on that, would you?  I was doing a lot of work in and around the packet handling, it's possible there's a packet that's not being handled correctly.  Edit the awger_Whitehall.cfg and set log level to ALL, then see if you can reproduce the problem.

I need to goto bed now but I WANT BOATS.  ughhhh i'll have to get it after work.   If it's not too hard maybe you can implement forge's new (obfuscation?) code that lets you make a 1.5 version independent mod.  Some other mod I use just did that and the author said it was really easy to implement.

Even if it doesn't work, the Hoy will look awesome sitting at the dock.  Posted Image

Couple of problems with the hoy - I know its WIP, just so you are aware. It despawns too if you leave it and return. Whitehall and Punt seems to be fine.

I have not yet updated everything to 1.5.2 ... but (at c_death's suggestion) looked into the alternate build (using SRG names).  The change was trivial on my end, so it was worth a shot.

A fresh build, that *might* work on 1.5.2, available here: http://www.mediafire...nab44oplt8n34bo

Is their a plan to have some ship/boat be capable to transport mod like cow and other animals. Maybe the Hoy could do this or a barges that can care two or three mods

I tried to open the file and it says it was corrupted. Not sure if its my computer or the file.

They don't. Mojang recently hired a team from Bukkit to take over development of Minecraft, and they are quite new to it, and frankly still trying to find their footing.

The build loads, but crashes when you try and place a small boat in the water.  Also, the textures load as null for the smallboat and the hoy.

I can't say there's a plan per se, but that is a desired capability.  I haven't worked out the "how," yet.

The "smallboat" isn't a boat... it's just the back-end code for the Punt and the Whitehall.

The Hoy should have a full set of textures, and you can place a Hoy in the world, but you can't interact with it yet.

Nothing to see inside the Hoy just yet, but you can fly in there if you like.

I tried leaving the game and then coming back, Hoy still there.  I flew away a few chunks and came back, Hoy still there.  What did you do to make the Hoy disappear?

Yes, I got the logs, but too much junk to see when exactly it happend. Better to try and reproduce. No problem, but give me some hours, We are going to be a little tied up with a cousin's wedding this saturday...

Now that I think of it. Should I try with the latest version, or the one already installed in my machine? Would do the test with both help at all?
