Oh come on update. Since falling sand is an entity like primed TNT would it not fall through cobweb? If so then you cOuls use it as. Then you could use it as a timer.

Well although sand doesn't fall properly it still has uses, we just can't depend on it landing anywhere

the sand does fall Properly, in the livestream they were using a pre release version of mcpe, hence the bugs.
Kinda disappointed with the update since sign glitch on android, and the armour values are all wrong.

really? on my ipod touch 4 the sand sometimes falls but most of the time it just dissapears...

yeah, the dissapearring sand is bothersome, and something i saw in the live stream. I think it has to something w/ what block you place it on.

The sand disappears a lot when you delete a block under it. I hope they fix it soon :-\

The sand disappears on closed trapdoors and a few other blocks.
we could use this for more machines.
Signs crash for me as well as menu key.
Final Annoyance is that it's almost impossible to place a.Torch on the top of a block when there are adjacent blocks.
it always attaches to a side of a block instead
other than that it's all fine

Apparently wooden doors are affected by block updates (even if you break a torch next to it!)! Too bad iron doors aren't...

He did. The sand dissapearing really affected my device; well at least the visual aspect and fortunately not the functionality.

Pseudo-Redstone Device that is. I already recorded the video and will try to get it put together in a couple hours when I wake up.
