Hello,

Sorry if i have this in the wrong place for forums but i was wondering how to set up a server for Feed the Beast(FTB). Could someone please explain how to do this?

you may want to go to here;

download the server AND client files.
run the server as you would with bukkit/vanilla.  

support is also available on that link if you need it

dont forget, this is still in beta and errors are common with this.

I have that link bookmarked as it is but i have no instructions to properly start a server up

He explained it, download server and Client files, and run the server as you would a regular server. If you do not know how to do that, there are many threads open or use this

ok now FTB has different mod packs in it do all of them work with that server setup or is that server setup on the site only for FTB itself?

To get the different versions you have to install them from the FTB client

i understand that but i'm just curious if the tb server you get from the ftb site works for all modpacks on the ftb launcher's list or just FTB itself

The one you get from the website is only for Beta Pack A, if you want the mindcrack pack for example you need to go to your client click filter and change it from client to server then select the mindcrack pack and it will say something like "Install the server version of this pack by clicking here"
