Ok, basically what I'm asking for is the title. How do I set up a custom IP for my server? I'm on a mac, too. Could you link me to a video or tell me directly? Thanks. :P

First off, define what a "custom IP" is to you.  I've seen many a thing referred to by many, many different names, and they almost all mean something different to each person.  :)
I ride the bukkit on Linux with a PEX shooter at my side.  Please don't PM me for help, PM's don't help the community at large as it's not publicly viewable.  Use pastie or pastebin for files, I will not download files.  Click the up arrow if I helped. (I also do YT Vids)

Not really sure how you would get something like that, I know if you go through a Hosting company (For MC) then they can get you an IP like that, but not exactly sure if its even possible on your own pc

Ok, that's a domain name, not an IP.  :)

And it depends, is your server running on your computer and publicly accessible?  Are you renting a server instance from a company?  Whoever/where ever it's hosted, does the company offer vanity domain names?
