What is littleMaidMob?

littleMaidMob is a mod created by the users of 2ch and later hosted in the Japanese minecraft forum minecraftuser.jp
It adds a (tameable) mob called the Little Maid, who can do a lot of stuff for you!

Sounds

By default, LMM has ghast sounds. In order to have a better experience, download and install the soundpack.
If you use MultiMC, the mod won't read from the resources folder in the instance, instead from %appdata%


Installation
==========================================================================================
1- Install Forge OR Modloader
2- put MMMLib-1_5_2-5.zip and littleMaidMob-1_5_2-4.zip in mods folder.
3- (Optional) Unzip the contents of littlemaidmobsounds.rar into .minecraft\resources\mod\sound
3- Profit!

LAN Support
======================================================================================
The mod is fully compatible to use in a LAN environment, just simple tweaks in the config are necessary.
Open the config file mod_LMM_littleMaidMob.cfg located in your config folder and change

checkOwnerName=false

to

checkOwnerName=true

The Contract:
========================================================================================

You can tame wild maids like wolves.
Hold cake and right click, then they became contracted.
The contracted maid is dressed herself with white brim (hair accessory).

-Maids are tidy mobs !
The maid mobs collect dropped items.

-Maids are made of sugar, cocoa and something amorphous.
Drop items has been changed.

-Maids skirt are full of dreams.
Maid inventory (named "inside skirt") is open when you right click
the contracted maid without special items (sugar, feather or something).

-Give me Sugar !
When you hold the sugar, maids come across to you and ask you to give it.
Each time you give her sugar, her waiting mode and activated mode is switched.
When some certain items are placed at the left upper slot of maid inventory,
the maid changed into special activated mode (see below).
In addition, 0.5 heart recovers per 1 sugar.

-Contraction needs consideration
Contraction period is 7 days in the game, and 1 sugar let you extend another 7 days.
If you place the sugars in the maid inventory, the contraction periods are automatically extended.
When you forgot her salary, maid gets into strike, until you give her another cake once more.
Maid in strike remains and never despawn.

Colors:

After forming a contract with your maid, you are able to change her hair color and some other features by right-clicking her with dye. Maid are available in all sixteen minecraft colors!


Modes:

By placing certain items in the first slot of the maid's inventory and giving her sugar, different modes will trigger:

Waiting:

When maids have nothing better to do, you can give her sugar without having any of the special items in the fist slot and it will set wait mode. The maid will stay in the same spot and it will not move

Escort:

Every newly contracted maid will be in this mode. Escorts will follow you around and pick up any items it detects.

Fencer:

Just place any sword in the first slot of the maid's inventory and give her some sugar. Fencers will attack any HOSTILE entity near you. Damage taken by the maid is restored by giving her sugar in her inventory.

Archer:

Place a bow on the maid's inventory first slot and activate archer mode by giving her sugar. Archer's aim is comparable to that of skeletons in the game. Archers will attack Hostile mobs. Arrows will be consumed when shooting so remember to stock your archer with arrows in her inventory.

Bloodsucker:

Axe on first slot. Bloodsuckers will attack any entity deemed neutral (sheep, pig, chicken, cow) or hostile (mobs) To change which entities are neutral/hostile just right-click your little maid with a book (will be consumed on use) and a GUI will pop up to let you change the settings.

Shears on first slot, the maid will shear wool of nearby sheep.

Demolisher:

Give your maid some TNT and right click her with some sugar to place her in Demo mode. Maids in demolisher mode will act as a creeper and explode when they are hit. The intensity of the explosion depends on how much TNT she has.

Torcher:

Only available at night or in dark areas. By placing torches on the first slot and activating her, the maid will go into torcher mode and place torches around you, providing some light.

Maids can cook! By placing coal/charcoal on the maid's first slot and giving her sugar, you will be activating cooking mode. In cooking mode, the maid will cook any raw meats, potatoes, or ore placed in her inventory. She will stay by the furnace until everything gets cooked or smelted.

By placing splash potions or cooked food on the maid's first slot and giving her sugar, Healer mode will be activated. In healer mode, the maid will follow you and heal you/ feed you when your health/hunger is low.

Freedom:

Right click your maid with a feather to place her in freedom mode. Your maid will keep the previous mode, but it will also include freedom. Maids in freedom roam freely in a small area without despawning or teleporting to you.

Redstone:

You can place a redstone torch on the ground and right click your freedom maid with some redstone dust and it will make her stand post on the block the redstone torch is placed in. Good for placing guards near entrances!

Clock:

Placing a clock in the maid inventory allows her announce the time inside the game.
It is necessary to add certain voices and configure the .cfg files to work this function.
Some new parameters are added for voice. *Only available if you downloaded and installed the soundpack.

If you want to "force" your maid to follow you somewhere, simply right click her with some string and walk wherever you want, your maid will follow!

Fun features!

-+-When in snow biomes, wild maids can be found having snowball fights.

-+-Placing Saplings/Flowers on the lower right corner slot of the maid's inventory, it will place the item on her head. (bugged with some mod items)

Acclaratory Notes: (Known Bugs)

This mod is written for Modloader but works most of the time with FML as well.

SMP on dedicated server is BUGGED!, otherwise, works fine on LAN.

Maids can't go up stairs.

Sometimes maids won't teleport to you.

Playerform Installation

Playerform allows you to change your skin and model in-game. It is based in the mod More Player Models by Noppes. The mod allows you to choose from hundreds of different models available. Including several Japanese pop culture characters such as from Vocaloid, Rana, Black?Rock Shooter, and Cirno!
Download/Installation:

2. Download PlayerFormLittleMaid 1.5.2用 v20c.zip
3. Download ModchuLib 1.5.2用 v3d.zip
4. If you use forge download PlayerFormLittleMaidFML 1.5.2用 v2a.zip as well.
5. To have all the models, download ModelForLittleMaidMob 1.5.2用 v1c.zip
6. Drop all the files in your mods folder and fire up minecraft!
*To change your model, the key to bring up the interface is the `/~ key or the one above the (Tab) key and before the (1) key

Just read in the Japanese forum that versions of forge 6.4.1.409 and above are incompatible with MMMLib

Ive been looking for this mod forever!

But when I try it, even with the forge update right before that one you listed, it doesn't work right. The mod goes through, but when I play, the maids are texture-less and they don't move.

Guess I will have to wait on it

could you take a screenshot? I know some maid models other than the basic are having some issues, since they had to rewrite the mod for 1.4.5 with all the internal changes. Try with forge .407 also, if possible provide me with the forge log. Right now I'm using forge .407 so I'm sure that one works since i took the pics last night.

Tall blonde maid is me   Im using a mod called playerform littlemaid. I asked for permission to post it here bit the creator said no. I'll share the links to their Forum and explain how to use it As soon as I get home. (college right now)

Um I can't find the updated 1.4.5 version of littlemaidmob, and when I use the download link it takes me to a japan page blocking me from the link.

Fixed the links, sorry about that, I didn't know the Japanese forums didn't allow hotlinks to their files. All fixed now and added a mirror.

Those forums are a bit strange to browse anyways I realized It would be a pain to download/test all of the models so i'll just link you to the model pages so you can choose and test (there's too many).
