The 1.10 release addresses many of the short comings of the previous release. My arm is responding well. I had "Tennis Elbow" from working on resource packs. So embarrassing!
Woocraft triumphantly returns for regular updates and the imminent upgrade to 1.9. Woo-Hoo!!!!
Woocraft was the first texture pack that I thought was art. It inspired me to make HD texture packs. I was very sad when it was discontinued. I kept a copy and updated it for my personal use. It has now grown to a point that I feel I can release it for others. My hope is to keep Woocraft going and growing. I have kept it as pure as I can and only added textures (I changed a couple of clearly borrowed textures). I will keep the ethos set out by Wooraah:
Make wooden buildings look cool (darkened and used a teak style wood)
Give an Asian flavor where possible
Be playable with any map (i.e. all blocks should be recognizable for what they are), color matched and pleasant too the eye.
Custom Asian art that is in keeping with the rest of the pack.
Be as color matched as possible, so no block looks un-natural or out of place when it’s next to another you would commonly expect to see there.

Hey, after testing this pack for a little while here are some considerations:
First of all, congrats and thanks for all the work, i tryed a long time to make an update version of it, and i quited. It's a hard work, and i know it and you did a excellent work!
There's however two things that i might suggest to reconsider: spruce wood planks and the tall grass.
Spruce wood planks texture looks very modified, more something that one would use for a creative TP, than for a general TP, and also the oak wood is already pretty dark, i feel like something is missing, an even darker wood and it can be very surprising for someone using this pack on survival. Especially if he spawns on a taiga biome. Also, in a more egoistic manner, i use a lot of spruce wood on my constructions, and there fore i cannot use this pack for a construction started with another TP...
The tall grass has a sort of black contour, that, allthough it is an interesting idea, does not, to my opinion, really works with the general "smooth" feeling of the pack.
But in a general way i'm very happy to play with this TP, and i'm starting to have interesting decorative ideas with it.

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I really appreciate them.
Your comment about spruce texture is very valid. I may need to have a creative pack. I accept your suggestion and will fix it in this pack.
I also agree with the grass texture. I'll change this too.
Nice reactivity, thank you very much. That looks actually much better. I like the colour of the new spruce planks, although, maybe maybe, a little darker
This a little "render" of your pack applied to one of my world that suits with the "asiatic" theme

Check the next version. I will do it.
Also your shots are fantastic. I hope you do not mind that I have included them.
I copy pasted the ninja zombies from the link to the original pack those are nice. As to the rest I am not the artist, you are. Here is a link that may provide inspiration to ye! http://www.obakemono...ntroduction.php And there are a metric ton of images online of Japanese Dragons!

Thank you for the feedback. Please feel free to tell me of improvements you want too. I am nice (well, sort of )
I agree, any suggestions?
Thank you, I love Woocraft too. I am enjoying the challenge of such an amazing base.
I love the way the chainmail turned out. It is based on a real set of Edo period armour. Woorah gets the credit for the others.

It works nicely enough, i think
Check the next version. I will do it.

If you wish, absolutely. Please add a reference to the Texture Pack in your notes is all I ask.

No problema! Although the shots are not very well taken and imgur compressed it a lot! i will try and have better ones soon.
What a fantastic link. Thanks
Your very welcome, I can not wait to see what you add in the way of mobs!
Thank You. Where in Indo are you? Gimana Jakarta? Boy do I miss bubur ayam at Stasiun Cikini (the best!).
