I was just wondering what other people's storage rooms look like, because I mainly stick to singleplayer. Here's mine.

Hey, that's really cool! I like it! Here's mine! It's kind of small right now, but when it's done, it's going to be a long hallway full of chests.

MINE isn't really all that great, once I get onto a decent multi player server I'll probably make a fancy one and all, but ATM its just chests stacked here and there near mines, farms, and inside nether portals.  The only thing I label are chests with random stuff in it.  In mines its usually sorted into dirt/sand/gravel cobblestone and ores.  P:

I'm not a big organiser with chests nor do I make enough to store things. I want to make one on this server I play but we have a thief about and I need some really secret chest room layered with obsidian. *sigh* if only pistons could move obsidian.

Spoiler:

It's fairly simple really, but I quite like the way it looks. At the end of the path is my brewing area, behind me ladders leading up to my base.
The dog and cat both teleported down here to me at some point, so I just left them here to guard I guess lol.

In between the chests are signs, just under the lamps and in the larger gaps (the birch), pressure plates that when activated, open access to two furnaces in front of them. A bit overkill, but I like it.

That's actually quite nice. I like the usage of the birch along the walls and ceiling. And one last thing, what's the texture pack? It looks amazing.

This is my new storage room, I built in on the same site as my old storage room about a month ago. That was the worst experience ever, as I had to move every single item I had...twice. Once to get them out of the old room so that I could build the new room, and again to place them into the new room.

Also, with the 2 item frames for 3 chests, I really didn't think that through too well. No matter, it isn't a big deal.

No, it isn't butter, it is gold

Now that we have that sorted out, can you please leave, thanks?

This is from my main world, World#2 that I've had since Alpha, a home embedded inside a mountain.

The only area left after two years that retains the cobblestone..

Now whilst it's not that impressive, It has evolved hugely in space and layout over the last two years:

Spoiler:

So as you can see the decor hasn't changed much over two yyears, but the space certainly has! What also isn't show is right to side of the stairs, (Left as you come down) is a door that goes through to the cobblestone generator and down to a branch mine).

I recently went the other way on my storage.  I started turning all of my iron, lapis, gold, diamonds, and emeralds into blocks and build a large warehouse to store them.  It's pretty cool to walk in and see a room actually full of loot.

I really like what a lot of you have done, very nice works.
Check it out, my terrible let's play with heavy breathing and no real point, but lots of cussing among friends.

Sorry it may be a little dark. It's pretty basic. I don't have too much stuff hanging around since not all the chests are even used. It works for me so I like it.Posted Image

It's nothing special, just a 7x3x7 room with 16 chests in it! I don't really need that many but 8 isn't enough and that's the next lowest choice!
