After discovering just how much fun alumentum is to play with, and how the explosion throws entities around, I got an idea. I placed down four dispensers all facing a pressure plate, in the hopes of creating a launch pad. Sadly, it worked a little too well, and the whole thing blew up in my face DX Can I ask that, in whatever way possible, dispensers are made immune to alumentum explosions?

You sir have just made my night I found it to be quite amusing and now I am off to go do that to creepers and teach them a lesson in irony.
I SO beg to differ. Wheat seeds are a spectacular source of Permutatio, an Essentia that about ten different research things use, and used in several crafting things including wands.
True, they are a valuable sources of Permutatio. Still, you don't need a massive wheat farm to have enough. I've gotten by with...14 farm blocks.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
Kinda random but is Azanor planning something like the arcane bore from TC2.
Been asked several times, at the moment there has not been news of it being added again. However. That doesn't mean its out of the question. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
@Azanor My admiration and thanks from a fellow developer for an amazing and fun creation. The golems in particular are absolutely brilliant! Such an ingenious take on creating automated systems. Now if I could build a thaumic device to auto-kill mobs and collect XP in Brain-in-a-Jars
Quick question: Should I mine all the infused ore I find? What are the pros and cons of mining it at first sight, and not mining it?
And one last question: With the newest update (I think it's 3.0.1b as of typing this) is there some sort of bug where when you hover over a research note "hint/description" on the research table, it sorta gets obscured by the aspects/question marks? And when left shift hovering over an item in the inventory do the aspects seem to be dimmed? Idk, that is just nit picking I guess. Anyway, any help is appreciated!
On the lower left side of the screen there's supposed to be a meter showing Mana/Flux. Does that appear when you research your first item?
Hidden tier 2 research. So no. Continue researching and you will discover it.
If you can't seem to figure it out (Read only as a last resort)
You need at least the Thaumometer, And the Unified Thaumic Field Theory. Then play around with stuff that is more "Magical" in your research and your likely to stumble upon it.
So you wake up on a beach one day, and remember NOTHING. (Except your degree teachings in Engineering, Wilderness Survival, Metal work, Physics, Tech, Psychology, History, Dynamics, and Blocks.) You mine and build and survive for years and years.
So my aura is going down like way down, i think its from my silver wood trees, how can i get it back up? and how to i get the glowing things
Most likely, Your looking at the size of the node within the tree, Go a little beyond the tree to where your original node is and you should pick up the normal numbers again.
About HD Texture Packs for this: Nuttyprot was doing a pack, but ran into problem with the way infused stone acts. So far, his is one of the best HD Texture Packs I've seen. It would really make Thaumcraft spectacular if he made one.
I also have a problem. I researched some stuff, didn't know what I was doing and switched items for research. Now I have some notes for the same researches it looks like. For example, 3 Nitor pages. Is there a way to combine those notes? And I have some that I don't know what I researched. Is there a way to find out what item I was researching?

I shall send Crawlers after you!
Life is a Learning Curve....
Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
Those who are good at studying. Those who do research. Also those who use creative mode, or NEI.
So, have to research the Goggles. Check.

I'd prefer a more Thaumcraftic way of doing it...
But it's an interesting idea.
