The Minecraft world is indeed infinite but after going 30 million blocks of any side, you won't be able to play but the world still loads but the blocks are more of 'ghosts' as you can't walk or build on them.
It would take you about a year to get to the FarLands.

It is 29,999,999 million blocks far in each direction. I squared that on paper (since the calculator didn't go that far even for it being a high school one) and it measures up to 899,999,940,000,001 blocks squared. Swimmingbird941 showed that you can use enderpearls to get on the 30,000,000th block, but it is hard. I also learned that redstone near the edge will look strange and pistons extended look strange, too. I also did some calculations, in the four quadrants ((+,+),(+,-),(-,+),(-,-)), without the y, each one can hold:
About 18,749,998,750,000 cozy cottages (6*8)
About 3,488,371,860,465 chunks (16*16)
About 13,732,909,240 regions (256*256)
Note:These aren't completely accurate. Some have been rounded to the nearest number.
I want to do more stuff like skyblocks and dungeons, but the math takes a long time.

Yes the moon can be orange, you'll see it when the moon has just risen.
Cheese door, iron sky, happy Iceland. I just said random words. The reason of this: complete random, but the question is, why are you reading this?
