The main goal for our server is just to have fun. We have taken many precautions to make MC Utopia safe for all ages. With that in mind, this is a Survival/limited PVP server. The current non-pvp zones are in Spawn Town and within the capital cities of the factions.
Game play:
Play individually or as a team. The main theme is survival with a lesser focus on pvp. Team play is based off of the Bukkit plugin Factions. For those who don't like pvp, you can have a large degree of safety on the property you acquire in game. Please remember that the only places that are 100% safe from PVP are the non-PVP zones. Property management along with many other features are based off of the Bukkit plugin Grief Prevention. We highly encourage you to visit http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/grief-prevention/
In-Game currency is earned through selling ore to "vendors" in Spawn Town or the capital cities.
The two current capital cities are Netherrack City and Lapis City, which are intended be the bases of the red and blue factions. If you want to build your own faction's capital city and need protections, ask the admins in game or email us!
As our server population grows, we plan to upgrade our server.

RULES:
1. Have fun! 
2. No griefing other people's property!
3. If you value your creation, build it on your property. Otherwise, you could lose it and you have to re-earn it.
4. Do not try to bypass our cuss word filter. There are children who play this game too.
5. Do not build inappropriate things.
6. Please, replant trees after you chop them, unless you are trying to make room for your stuff. You still have to replant.
7. Do not use any hacks of any kind, x-ray texture packs or mods that allow you to cheat.
8. No 1 × 1 towers. They look ugly. If you need them, at least remove them when you are done.
9. Do not spam. It can be either chat or builds. This can include tiny little houses. Do not make a lot of them scattered everywhere.
10. Don't freekill. This means do not kill anybody for no reason unless in PvP.
Violating any of these rules may result in a kick or ban.
Ban time will depend on severity.
