How to make Minecraft Lag less? :D

Okay. 1st off im new here so im very sorry if this is posted in the wrong place... But anyways! Does anybody know how to make minecraft lagless? :c i mean i know lots of people ask this but it seems like nothings working... I am currently using Optifine mod, render distance short or tiny, graphics fast, smooth rendering off and like all animations off etc. And it still lags :( Can anybody give me some suggestions? :D Also i get like 20-45 fps. :c

Well, that computer seems pretty good compared to my one, which runs at around 30fps with higher Optifine settings. . . but maybe you have a really bad graphics card (although, I do have an NVIDIA GeForce 6200. . .). I really don't know, sorry!

It depends on a lot of things but that spec doesn't seem half bad. I would get a graphics card and maybe some more RAM you can never go wrong having more i would recommend 8GB also if you have a lot programs open that could cause it to lag or background tasks.

When i play minecraft I don't have anything open apart from minecraft and use my laptop for Skype/internet while im playing. Runs pretty well.
