What is your processor speed? If it's under 2Ghz, the minecraft.exe will not open.

Make sure it's not being detected by an antivirus for a false positive. Also, check to make sure your firewall isn't blocking it. Check to see if it's using a lot of RAM or not. Check to see how long your inactive process kill is.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong.

I can run minecraft on ancient laptops that have 1.2GHz single core processors.

HeavyHERO93, like what Kovu said, an antivirus / firewall is most likely to cause this issue. I would disable them for the time being, or add an exception for Minecraft if you can.
You are one person in a planet of seven billion people, on one of eight planets in a solar system, in one of millions of solar systems, in one of millions of galaxies. You're pretty insignificant.

Really? My Minecraft.exe wouldn't open with a 1.86ghz processor on my old computer.
