i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
In the mind of smp you should make it so you can multiply the keys to give away to friends that share the same area. As well as a way for server admins to administer lost keys in some way.
Or perhaps keys persisting through death? I have no way in mind to actually create that possibility though however.
I very much so enjoy this mod, keep up the good work!
Edit: Also possibly a Masterkey for server admins? Just some food for thought ^.^
Sorry if i seem to be spaming, quite a major bug this time. some people are getting duplicate keys, such that one group of people was able to craft up a whole heelp of keys, and go around unlocking everyones doors, as the key numbers are the same. quite a few key number 0s pop up.
this was before the last update, i will keep and eye to see if it still does it after the update
Nice work hypercross. I messaged you with an exploit my players found and with a request for a configuration of the Y parameter of the landmark; to prevent certain mod exploits from breaking the landmarks/locks.

Unfortunately, the exploit my players have discovered with 0.0.4 negates all locks/landmarks on my server. It seems that the locks, even while under protection from the landmark; can be accessed so easily that I won't reprint here in hopes that hypercross can patch quickly.
well when i use the last key on a keyring it disappear,i think that a bug,and if its possible you could make it a configurable file to increase the range of the landmark
I hope to see what this mod will be able to do with more than just two days of working being done.

Not a big thing, but I felt , for info sake, that it should be mentioned:
When using the keychain, if you unlock all your locks, then place the keychain out of inventory (backpack or chest etc) then lock your locks, the keys become separate again.....so if you made a chain without duping the keys, this is a good way to separate the keys for making copies before adding them back into the chain.

OMG, this is one of the best mods i've ever heard for a non-bukkit server, im deffinitly gonna try it on my moded server (it's local, but my friends always grief my houses u.u)
After testing it i really love it, just a suggestion (dunno if it is possible) could u make a landmark which area is configurable? like in a config u set it 10 so it's 10x10x10 i would love that

Hi, would it be possible to let the user decide what the radius of a landmark is? 11x11x11 is nice, but I think of it as an easy relacement for regions. Like I have a house / spawn area / whatever with the dimensions XXxYYxZZ and I want to protect it with a single landmark. Of course, there should then be a configurable max size, too.
I made the radius configurable for now. I meant to have people protect large areas with many landmarks, but that's pretty difficult. I am looking into other ways of doing this also.
forge downloaded the newest lwjgl library for me, so I wasn't aware of the lwjgl version differences, and used methods not provided by the older versions. Sorry about that.

As for making it more secure you could add the player id to the key so it would be something like this player,0
