This is a newer server generated in 1.4. We run on the latest snapshots unless it's too buggy. The theme of this server is to survive and thrive hence the name Surthrival. We keep this server very mature by having a selective application process. It may take you awhile to fill out, but it is worth it. If you're too lazy to fill out an application then we don't want you.

This is a fully Vanilla server running on the snapshots. We don't use Plugins, so we use mature and honest people to keep the server fun and safe.

Your Minecraft playing style: Structures that are more productive than aesthetic. Factories, farms (not mob farms.) Defensive walls, Towers, mostly around the European Dark Ages of architecture.

When did you start playing?: Hmm... This is a tricky one. I started in Alpha, before biomes and the nether and whatnot... But I was quite ignorant back then, and had no clue about versions n' such...
How'd you discover Minecraft?: My brother told me about it a while ago.
About your personal life: Well I'm in school, and I have a very strong interest in biochemistry and microbiology. My biggest hobby is coming up with creatures for my fictional planet, Suniv Sol.
Your Minecraft playing style: I tend to make militaristic bases with special specifications, and advanced redstone defenses. Then I like to pvp, but give stuff back a good bit of the time. Unless A- they were invading me, or B- It was a fair fight.
Do you have a YouTube channel?: No.
Greatest Minecraft achievements: Kept a hardcore world for a year and two thirds, made a LOT of advanced redstone contraptions in a game I call 'capture the block' where a few people make bases with traps and puzzles to get through to catch colored wool.
Why would you like be considered?: I like vanilla because you can explore the many aspects of minecraft with a looming danger (players) over your head. I can mine and build in my fortress of solitude, and I can go and prowl through the night in the darkness of night. So much fun waiting to be had.

When did I start playing: 1.7.3 Beta.
How did I discover Minecraft: Through my friend Justin.
Personal Life: If it's okay, I'd rather not share any of my personal life. Sad things.
Minecraft playing style: I enjoy mining and often use cave housing.
Youtube Channel: I have one, but it is not very successful (DeedleDoops).
Greatest Minecraft achievement: Collecting two stacks (64) of diamonds.
Why would you like to be considered: Well, I would like to be considered because I haven't really been on a server where it would be peaceful and quiet (like I expect this one to be ) because most of the servers I have been on, there would people constantly being banned due to: griefing, random nerd poles, wrecked up landscape, and lots of hackers.

Because I used to play mostly on xbox I do not have many pictures of my creations to show you, but here are a couple of a couple of creations.


This is a small apartment building I built for my niece.



A classroom in the apartment building. Has desks and a whiteboard.


I also built my niece a castle, and then she preceded to destroy it... But she loved it and Im happy she got to enjoy it. This is after she destroyed it. I fixed it up a little bit for the picture though.


This is a farm I built in survival. I didn't use any automatic farming or redstone because I prefer not to, but I can and will if I build large plantations.


This is a wall I made w/ a tower in the background.


This is my personal favorite house. it is a small cabin that is built into a hill, so you can access a mine from it. This cabin has been hit by about seven creepers in its lifetime. But she's still as pretty as the day she was built.


This is a "party" hall I built. complete with tunes, dance floor, and flowing lava ceiling.


This is part of the castle I built for my niece. This is where you come and get your food. It is part of the cafeteria.
