So I've been trying to add mods to tekkit(crazy I know)but I thought it would be fun to have apple pies in the game and other stuff
So I've tried putting in the bakery goods mod but only with apple, golden apple, and pumpkin pie(remember tekkit is 1.2.5),apple pie but only with the apple trees, furniture mod(can't find the right version plus I don't really care for it)Pie craft but only with apple, golden apple, and pumpkin pie, and forestry mod(and it was in their so that won't be hard) and this is going to be on a server also(so their might be one or two more and has to work for it)
It keeps cashing but I heard that you can fix it by changing the classes. I don't know how to do that..
So can someone tell me if this is true and help me though it? I'll repay you by:if you have a youtube I put it on my channel, if your a regular modder I'll review it(or texture pack), or something else(keep in mind I don't have much subs:()

Also to add one more thing are you going to be playing alone? because if you are i would STRONGLY suggest modding Technic instead. because that is mainly for single player.

I really don't understand why people don't install their own mods. At the very least, you will become more competent with computers, and you will be more legal. The reason it's not working is because of version mismatch, which you probably won't understand.

Tekkit is still Minecraft 1.2.5. So if you want to add mods and play on a server, you need more then just the client mod. You also need a ported bukkitcraft mod for the serverside (on 1.2.5 you can't use the normal mod for that). And all the people that play on your server then have to mod their client in the same way. Otherwise they won't be able to get on the server anymore.
Imo if you want an adapted Tekkit with new mods and you play on your own on your server, you might as well start creating a modpack for own use. It is a lot easier to mod a server for 1.4.2, because you don't need to wait for bukkitcraft compatible serverside mods of each mod you like. Forgemods are now universal, so you only need one mod to both mod server and client.
