New dawn is an rp server that means you RP you don’t run around trolling. You must complete an app if you want to become whitelisted on this server don’t beg to join. The main form of combat in this server is rp fighting you can pvp but you and the person you are fighting must agree on this in ooc. The server races are devided in houses or factions. There are severall houses for each race and each house has a leader.
1. As stated above NO random PVP unless it is in a battle over a city. Other than that, RP fight. If you don’t know what it is scroll down to the RP section.
2. Do NOT grief, troll, spam, or leave floating blocks ANYWERE. You can raid anywhere in the wilderness, but make it look slightly believable.
3. You can steal on this server but ONLY in the wild.
4. Do not use hacks or mods on this server or it will result in a ban.
5. You must have a half decent RP reason for clamming war on another race. Don’t just say “we just dislike them” unless your race dose generally dislike them such as dwarfs and elves.
6. If your char dies in an RP fight (not in PVP unless the person has agreed to it) then he is dead. Please make a new char. No one can force someone to die such as saying *chops off (insert names) head* this would be called power gaming and would be ban able.
7. You cannot god game such as if you have just joined the server and state “I have created this world it is all mine muhahaha!” ,or say “I am a god I shall destroy all” this is god gaming and is a tempban offence depending on what you do.
8. Also if you read the rules put a smiley face in the “did you read the rules?” section of your app.
9. Do not Meta game. Metagaming is using something your char would not know such as a dwarf hears on OOC that the elves are coming to attack. He cannot run up to the dwarf leader and yell “the elves are coming!” . but we will allow limited meta such as if you are trying to find another person you can make a arrangement on OOC instead of wandering the wild to find them but that is all you are allowed to do.

How to RP
This section is for people who have no clue whatsoever what RP is, so if you have already done a RP server you can skip over this.
1. In RP you want to act like your char (character) is actually in the game (so don’t run up to the human cap and say “SUCK THIS YOU SKUM!”)
2. In RP there are two chats: RP chat and OOC chat. RP chat is what your char hears and sees in the world around him, and is also used for RP fighting. OOC chat is where you can talk OOC (out of character).
3. If you want your char to do an action such as *sits down* then use the * key around your words. If you need to talk in OOC on local chat use ( ) around your words.
4. RP fighting is when in local people use emotes to fight such as…
*ben swings his sword at the kraugs tail*
*the kraug jumps to the side and roles to his feat snarling the blade whistling in the night*
*ben stumbles but regains his balance stabbing the sword with all his might towards the kraug*
*the kraug gets hit with the flat of the blade and is slammed in to the wall unconscious*
This is an example of the end of an RP fight where “ben” was the victor. but it goes to show that it is fairly easy for someone to god game in this form of combat such as saying *pulls out a knife fuelled by 100,000,000 souls* doing this will get you temp banned so DON’T. Also having your char take NO hits against unlikely odds will get you temp banned. If your char does acquire this dagger through RP, such as he kills a long dead king in an admin event and that is the reward, he is allowed to use it.
Lore of the server:
The races have just appeared and it is every one for themselves in this chaos, but will a kingdom rise to take control of this wilderness?
Will you be a mage trying to unlock the secrets of the spirit plane? Will you be an archer just trying to make ends meet? Will you be a swordsman traveling from a distant land? Will you heal others and drive poisons from their veins? Will you murder the innocents and break down the walls of kings? Will you be a simple farmer who just wants good crops? Will you be an old story teller reciting tales of battles past…

Humans have sailed from across the eastern seas and have come to make an empire for themselves in this new land and will do anything: lie, cheat, and anything that it takes to make them rise to power in this new world.
The humans are a strong and hardy folk who don’t trust outsiders but are friendly with people of their own race. Humans value loyalty and battle above all else and their leaders are usually war masters as well as being able to lead their citizens in time of peace. Humans stand 4-5 feet tall with blond to black hair and a range of eye colors.
The elves have recently come down from their trees to discover this strange land, and legends of their magic have already reached the four corners of the globe. This race, with practice, could be true spell casters. The elves are also known for their archery and for their patience. The only race elves cannot (and will not) get along with is the dwarfs, or stone beards as they call them. The elves will protect their lands with their lives and anyone who is caught trespassing in an elf’s lands will pay dearly.
The elves’ leaders are known for their knowledge and intellect with magic. They are a force to be reckoned, with but they do not like war. As a matter of fact, they will usually only use war if there is no other option. The only time they will fight with no reason is in the company of the dwarves because of their natural hate towards each other. An elf’s hair can be silver or golden in color. Elves are usually un-muscular but instead are lean and graceful. Elf’s stand 5-6 feet tall with long pointed ears and slanted eyes. Their eyes are almost always green, blue, or deep brown.
Dwarfs live in their mountain homes pounding steel and mining for precious stones. They usually never leave there mountains except to get resources from the outside world. Dwarfs hate almost all creatures that dwell above ground, but they hate the elf’s more than any other race. The dwarfs are fine weapons smiths and are renowned for their craftsmanship. The dwarfs have only just come from their underground mines to see the world in the light of the sun (they call it the great burner since their subterranean living makes their eyes unable to take much sunlight).
Dwarf leaders are usually the best craftsmen or the proudest warrior and will kill anyone who threatens their race. The dwarfs stand 3-3.5 feet tall with dark red, black, or brown hair and red, orange, yellow, or grey eyes. Dwarfs are strong and muscularly built, so they can carry heavy weights even if they are small.
Orcs are a tribal race that have recently come down from the mountains and crawled from their caves to take control of this new world, but they are ill prepared for what they will face. The orc race is a tribal race that has hardly advanced at all. They usually wear skins of animals and carry clubs or crude axes. They dislike every race and even eat some races as a delicacy. Kraug, phoenix, and griffon are a few of the most revered. Orc tribes will fight anyone just for the fun of it (even if it is clear they will lose). The orcs are one of the less intelligent races, and most can’t speak at all but only grunt. Some higher ranking orcs have goblin servants who they take from the mines.
The orc leader is usually the most war loving orc in the tribe. They do this in order to make their race feared, but it really only ends up making them hated. The orcs stand 4-6 feet tall with any shade of green skin, and rarely do they have black or dark red skin. Orcs always have black hair with red or brown eyes.
The kraug have just started to appear from their forest homes and have come in to this new land. The kraug value the pack and unity above all else and they have strict social structures. The kraug are almost as intelligent as humans but do not build houses or weapons, mostly because they have no need to. Their claws are almost as sharp as any sword, and they are normally nomadic, traveling from place to place in search of new hunting grounds. The kraug will defend their young and elderly to their final breath but are usually an almost cowardly race who, if seeing overwhelming odds, will simply flee instead of taking the chance. The kraug can speak but they mainly use there tail and growls to show emotions.
A kraug pack leader is known for his or her astounding prowess in battle and intellect. The kraug can have many types of hair color from blondish to black. Kraug’s eyes come in only 4 colors blue, yellow, brown, or green. The kraug look exactly like regular wolves except for the fact that they are 4-6 inches larger than a normal wolf.
the goblins have lived as orc slaves for as long as anyone can remember and even though there have been many revolts none have been successful. The goblins came to this land in iron shackles stumbling in a never ending line of slaves. Goblins are usually miners, but are sometimes servants to high-ranking orcs.
A goblin servant king is an empty title more of a cruel joke than anything else. These goblins are the servants of the orc king and do his every command and if ever told to do something they must obey or will be severely beaten if they do not. The goblins are usually pale green or sickly white in color with large blood shot eyes and they can’t have hair.
Griffons have recently flown up from the southern lands in search of new homes. The griffons, like the kraug, do not use weapons or armor but they sometimes inhabit destroyed shacks high in the mountains when they can find nowhere else. Griffons love to eat sheep, goats, horses, goblins, kraug, and sometimes a dwarf—just about anything that is smaller than them is not safe from this fearsome predator. Griffons will protect their own kind and their territory, but they feel no remorse for the destruction of any race but its own.
Griffon flock leaders are known for their prowess in battle and hunting, and they will fight to their death with any who try to kill their flock. A griffon has the back legs of an eagle and the front legs of a lion. A large eagle head sticks out from its shoulder blades and wings sprout from its back as a lion’s tail whips behind it. A griffon is usually brown or black in color on the feathers and is usually grey or gold on the lion fur. A griffon’s eyes are almost always a piercing yellow with sometimes flecks of green in them.
Phoenixes are otherwise known as “fire birds” and appeared from the embers of flame, not element or beast, phoenixes are a glory to behold. Phoenix’s like elves do not like war and like griffons do not use weapons to a phoenix the greatest weapon is itself. A powerful phoenix can wield the power of flame better than any elf could ever achieve. They usually live in or around flame to draw on its power, and while they are near it they are slightly more powerful.
A phoenix leader is a formidable fire mage who can summon large amounts of fire with a single command. While phoenixes do not often go to war, when they do they will summon fire to help them succeed. Phoenix feathers are usually red, yellow, and orange but in rare cases they can be grey and near black. A phoenix’s eyes are always red or grey in color.
Fauns have been living in there deep woods for generations and have only just started to appear in the outside world. Fauns often dance and sing threw out the night, but if they catch even a single glance of an outsider they will disappear in to the darkness as if they were never there. If someone ever finds a faun lost or not with their group it is fairly easy to gain there trust and they make loyal companions. Fauns will never harm another living creature unless forced to do so in self-defense.
A faun’s leader is known for kindness and generosity to any who need it even there enemy’s dwarfs, kraugs, and orcs. Fauns have a human torso head and arms but have the legs of a goat that can be brown, grey, reddish, and almost black in color.
Jatiir (requires a slightly longer bio):
The jatiir usually live peaceful lives deep in hard to reach desserts far away from contact with other races. They usually spend their time in deep meditation but when awoken for battle they are a lethal force to be reckoned with utilizing the sands to summon massive waves of heat and sand storms. They usually appear as men with dark skin and bald heads covered in tattoos, though they can also turn into whirlwinds of sand.
Golems (requires a slightly longer bio):
Fashioned from earth and clay by the gods themselves these fascinating creatures outdate all other races. They usually dwell in places of earth like caves or mountains, in battle they use the powers the earth has bestowed upon them to summon walls of earth and massive boulders of stone, along with this they have amazing regenerative abilities no matter how many limbs are cut off (unless they are utterly destroyed) they can fashion another out of the earth itself this makes them very hard to kill. They look like men made of rocks and earth there sizes vary from 10 feet tall to 2.
The Minotaur’s are usually quite war like and are very much like orcs. In battle a Minotaur is a force to be reckoned with, using its plain brute strength it can use massive clubs and axes to destroy an enemy. Minotaur’s appear to be men from the head down and are usually quite hairy and muscular they also have the head of a bull, they usually stand 6 to 7 feet tall.
Demons (must be a trusted player):
They hail from the worst of lands and are said to have been formed by the darkness itself. They represent everything evil upon this world and are nothing but harbingers of chaos; they are nearly impossible to kill and can utilize the strength of a thousand men to rip apart any who opposes it. They usually are colored a dark crimson red but can also be black they also usually have massive bat wings that fan out behind them; they can sometimes have horns sprout from their heads and usually stand 8 to 12 feet tall.
Imps (requires a slightly longer bio):
They first came out of the great fire mountain at nearly the same time the phoenixes appeared they usually work for the darkness spreading death and destruction across the known land. In battle they summon flames to do their bidding while they attack with their sharp claws. They look like men but there skin is crimson, they have cat like eyes, they have long claws and large bat like wings.

The Templars are probably the most well-known of the human houses. The Templars will slay any who they believe to be evil or a threat to the human race. Mainly the Templars will kill, imprison, or enslave orcs, kraugs, griffins, and goblins. The Templars worship there god kaniir also known as the light bringer.
The dark helms are a cult of demon worshipers who are also known cannibals. They believe that after eating another humans heart they will gain the ability to converse with demons no one knows if this is true or not. The dark helms have been known to kidnap Templars or civilians and kill them.
The forest watch are known for their love of nature and protection of the wild places in this world. They will attack anyone who tries to harm nature such as start forest fires and such. The forest watch will often aide the Templars in there endeavors to stop evil.
The night callers are a group of elfs who believe the only way to preserve narture is adeing evil in destroying all races including themselves. The night callers will often call on demons but are rarely to never able to do it. Instead they will spread so much drink before these callings that they believe that they are actually calling demons.
The craftsmen of the north are a group of dwarfen craftsmen who will create the most wonderers toys and curiosities. They wish to rid the land of evil but they don’t actually take up the fight themselves but will instead fund the Templars with money and objects of their craftsmanship.
The war branders are known for their Great War machines and weapons. They will fight for the side that pays the most. These dwarfs envoy taking prisoners to torture or throw in there mines for amusement. They will even force prisoners to throw themselves in to their mines at the point of a sword.
Tribe of the slauterhords is a group of bloodthirsty bandit orcs who will work for anyone with the most money. There leaders are sometimes chosen by a vote this shows advancement from there orc brethren but they still use clubs and sticks to kill there enemy’s.
The tribe of the rotting axe will kill anyone who gets in there way with no show for their own safety. They will jump in to the thick of battle and blindly slash and hack until they cannot move or there enemy is dead. Some say that this house is just extremely brave and others say they are extremely stupid no one really knows the answer.
The hunters are the name of a pack of kraug who dislike killing any intelligent race but will do so if they are attacked or threatened. The hunters will usual stay away from human towns (because of the Templars) and live in the forests. They will not fight for any evil but will not fight for the Templars because of their hate towards kraugs.
The nightclaw are the second pack of the kraug race. The night claw enjoys the hunt so much that they will destroy entire towns just for excitement. The Templars mainly hate this pack but they can usually not distinguish between the two and so they kill, imprison, and enslave both of the packs. The night claw will even ally with any evil as long as they get the pleasure of killing.
The miners are the part of the goblin race that was sent to the mines to work for the orcs. They hate there orc masters and would do anything to stick a pickaxe up a orcs throat. They are not evil, but they will do all they can to put an end to their slavery and they believe it is time for a new goblin uprising.
The goblin servants are the second part of the goblin race the part that was made in to a servant class. They will serve there orc masters and have been lead to believe that there masters are gods and so should be treated as such. They will defend their orc masters to their final drops of blood and hate everyone who dislikes orcs.
The white feather is a group of griffons dedicated to the wellbeing of their race and will fight to the end to protect the griffons, even though they are fiercely protective of their own any other race is just a source of food and will usually treat them as such leading them to not have many allies with the exception of phoenixes who they have founded a rickety alliance with.
The darkened beaks are a group of griffons who have decided that they are the race who have been given this world and all the other races must be destroyed. They pillage and plunder any villages they come across and will kill anyone unlucky enough to be seen by one. They find human flesh a delicacy and often murder entire cities to taste it.
The flaming quill is a group of phoenixes who believe that fire is where this world came from and thus it should not be toiled with by races such as the humans, they have a deep rooted hatred of humans due to the templar’s crusades of destroying their homes and killing off their kind. The flaming quill is mostly peaceful to all other races and have a alliance with the griffins after the templar’s began to burn their nests and shatter their eggs.
The embers flame is a group of phoenixes who believe fire is an ethereal force who wishes to destroy this world and thus they must obey it by spreading flames across the land. They have a solid law of not having contact with any other races and it is punishable by death. They have a terrible hatred for the templar’s for much the same reasons as the quills and will usually try to kill a templar on sight
Racial magic (can only be used if you are this race).
Faun music (fauns): the fauns usually do this when they are partying and not usually in battle (fauns are not usually war like) it was first used by Eltazor Greenfell in the 3rd era, he was one of the greatest fauns to ever live he found melodies that can make lesser races fall to sleep or act foolishly, he then passed down these songs to his children and them to there’s and has since become integrated into faun culture. It has also been the basis of witch rumors of fauns killing men when they wander upon their parties or feasts it is actually the men falling into slumbers so deep from the music that it can appear as death.
Phoenix fire (phoenixes): the fire of a phoenix is actually a phoenix using its life flame from which it was born from to create greater feats of fire magic then any over race could possibly achieve. It was first discovered in the 2nd era upon the phoenixes home land from which they came from, it was one of the greatest discoveries that they had made yet and pushed their culture very far forward for up until now phoenixes had been known to use fire magic but were no better at it then men or elves but due to this discovery they had a much needed boost for their civilization.
Elf song (elves): the elf song is music made by the elves that resonates deep within the earth making the plants around one obey the singer to hear more of the music. It was discovered in the 2nd era around the time the phoenixes discovered there flame. Until this point elves were the same as the humans destroying the forests and mining out the soil at their feet but upon the discovery of this music a new way of life was accepted for their race mostly founded by a elf the by the name of Festin Huntil he was also one of the most well known singers of all the elves he decreed that the elves were to protect nature and to nor hurt or touch it ever again. To this day the elves have lived by this law never questioning it or disobeying it.
Moon sight (kraugs): a common practice for less muscular or able bodied kraugs is to try and learn the art of Moon sight, though most of those who claim to know how to use it are fakes and liars there are kraugs who can do it. Moon sight is to look into the moon and to see the past, present and even the future. It was first used in the great hunt of Lenderon in the 1st era during which a young kraug saw the men marching towards there great cave carrying weapons of war and bringing their tamed dogs to kill them off. Since then Moon sight has become more of a legend then a actual thing and there are very few who can use it.
Shadow walking (goblins): shadow walking is a way to turn nearly impossible to see or hear by walking though a realm next to are own, it has brought up the thieving side of many a goblin and given their race in general a reputation as thieves and assassins. It was first used by a goblin by the name of Gripenook he used it to kill many leaders of crucial political standings in the 3rd era. Though this gave him much fortune and wealth it gained his race no alleys in the war with the orcs and eventually lead to their races enslavement
Magic types (can be used by any race)
Elemental: the first kind of magic to be learned by the races was elemental magic and thus it is also the most crude and easiest types of magic. It involves using the energy of a person to feed an element and then using the power the element gives you in return to use fire, earth, air or water to crush you enemies. It was first learned by the humans in the beginning of the 1st era and gave them a massive advantage over the other races and let them grow there empire much larger until about halfway through the 1st era when the elves learned the secrets of it by interrogation and torture. By that time the human race was already much bigger than any other and they kept it that way until the end of the 1st era.
Shamanic: this magic was first used by the orcs, it is mainly used by spilling a opponents blood on the battle field then using the energy leaking from the dead body to make oneself more powerful. By using this the orcs managed to destroy much of human civilization at the beginning of the 2nd era. Though invented by the orcs over races have learned the secrets to it most notably the goblins who made great advances in the field of Shamanic magic near the end of the 2nd age but sadly the secrets they discovered were burned and destroyed when their race was enslaved.
Alchemy: alchemy is the use of one’s energy to force a non valuable recourse such as coal or stones into one of more reasonable value such as gold or gems. It was first discovered by the humans in the middle of the 3rd era when there civilization was verging on total collapse do to raids by the orcs. The humans used this to bribe the elves into an alliance that let them fight off the orcs and begin rebuilding their empire. Soon after the humans founded the knowledge of alchemy the dwarves to learn it and they used it to turn into one of the richest empires the lands had ever known near the middle of the 3rd era.
Mind veiling: this form of magic is used to cloud the mind and distort what the senses see and feel. It was first created by the elves in the middle of the 2nd era who used it to gleam information from the minds of their enemies, mainly humans and dwarves. The goblin soon after learned this form of magic and used it to win a small war with the dwarves at the end of the 2nd era and soon after win some battles with the orcs even though they were eventually enslaved by them.
Weather magic: first used by the griffins in the beginning of the 3rd era where it is suspected they stole books regarding magic from an elven library to the north. They used it to win some disputes other land rights with the dwarves. The most notable of uses of weather magic in history is the great storm named centurion conjured by the griffons to eradicate the elves in the middle of the 3rd era. Though the griffons made great advances in storm magic the phoenixes learned it to near the middle of the 3rd era they learned much of it but not many of them ever used it due to their prowess with fire magic.
Holy Magic: Holy magic is a peculiar type of Magic. There is no set power you can attain. The power of your Magic depends on how powerful your faith is. For example: Somebody who is very devoted to their Religion may have Powerful Holy Magic, whereas somebody who does not worship regularly and isn't devoted to their Religion may have very Weak holy Magic. Holy Magic comes in two forms. Destruction and healing. Destruction is casting spells of blue, silver or white light to hurt your opponent. Destruction, Holy Mages may also be able to conjure shields. Holy magic's other form is Healing. Healers use their Holy Magic to heal their comrades. Healers are also able to conjure Magical shields. If two masters of Holy Magic, One of Destruction and One of Healing, both produced a Shield, the Healer's shield would be much Stronger than the Destruction Mage's shield. Nobody quite knows why. Holy Magic is mainly used by Templars or Worshippers of Kaniir. Other races can obtain Holy Magic if they prove they are devout to Kaniir.- made by ADDB_98
Holly magic first appeared at the end of the 3rd age when the organization called the Templers arose and decreed that all races must worship the great god kaniir not many races other than humans truly use it though many humans have turned to it as a way to gain status within the ranks of the Templers. Training of holy magic was forgotten after the battle of the burning skies when templar’s attacked and slaughtered phoenixes at their city of fire to the west, soldiers blamed their own mages for controlling them, whether this is true or not is still not known. Soon afterwards though the practice was brought back after a peace treaty signed with the elves.
Ice magic: ice magic is the use of energy to call upon the spirit of the north and then use its energy to do many works of ice and snow, first created by humans dwelling far to the north as a way to hunt and kill for food or trading at the end of the 1st era. It was then put to use in many battles with the phoenixes in the 2nd era which let them win many battles in which they had many less men. the elvesas well as the phoenixes both have deep rooted hatreds for this magic and wish it to be gone from this world.
Dark Magic’s (highly illegal in most cities and will usually end you up at the headsman’s axe)
Necromancy: the art of necromancy was first used at the end of the 1st era by a human who wished to bring back his true love who had recently died from a terrible plague. Though he brought back his love he also brought back half the dead anywhere near him who killed him and his entire village. Necromancy was outlawed at the middle of the 3rd era after many more deaths caused from it. Though outlawed practice of necromancy continued until the beginning of the 4rth era when the templar’s arose they quickly smote down any notion of necromancy within their realm, this greatly decreased the number of necromancers but there are still those who practice it in secret.
Summoning: summoning is a way to use magic to unlock the cages that hold the darkest of monsters in the other world and bring them to our own. It was first used by phoenixes in the 1st era as a way to fight of the invading humans; it worked until halfway through the 1st era when a monster was unleashed that killed half of their race as well as the invading army. Though even after that catastrophe it wasn’t outlawed until the 2nd era. This form of magic was also learned by human spies in the middle of the 3rd era who eventually became the first leaders of the dark helms in the middle of the 3rd era.
Shade magic: shade magic is named so because the first person to use this magic was the shade of Furventor in the 2nd era. This form of magic is used by using ones energy to create the very essence of death and fear in a tangible form and use it to destroy there opponents. This form of magic was outlawed in the end of the second era when a man used it to destroy half of a city in an instant. Not many people now use it and those who do keep it as a dark secret and almost never train people how to use it.
- There is a master of every magic type and you can only learn a magic type from that master
- In your app if you want your char to know some magic you must have him know almost none and be very week in it (you can become more powerful through training in rp)
- You can know two types of magic at most, one main and another which you cannot know much of at all and are very weak in.
- Magic costs energy so you must rp that don’t continually cast spells without getting tired
1 .Novice (starting): you have just learned of this magic and struggle with even the easiest of spells
2. Initiate (after 3 days at least): you have learned some to help you along your path to greatness but you still are very week and the spells that some cast with ease leave you out of breath and heaving on the ground
3. Apprentice (after 7 days at least): you have learned from your masters and you can cast some of the simpler spell without passing out and you are now working towards more advanced spells
4. Journeyman (after 11 days at least): you are now reaching the end of learning that which is common knowledge and into darker secrets of your magic
5. Scholar (after 2 and a half weeks at least): you have learned much of your magic and are quite good at it through much training and practice
6. Adept (after 3 weeks at least): you have learned all you can from your books and studies it is time you journey off to distant lands and use that which you have learned to do great deeds or evils
7. Master (there can only be one for each magic type): you know more than any other upon this field of magic from its darkest secrets to most easy spells you are a true master of magic
