As far as the storage bookshelf goes, I'd like to see perhaps a config file or something, then I can add books from other mods to its recognition list on my own, rather than turning to you for every mod I have that uses a book. It'd also be nice to add maps or other paper-based information storage systms (from whatever mods happen to be active) to the bookshelf.

I generally generate books from the following mods:
Thaumcraft by Azanor
Recipe Book from Risugami's ModLoader Mods

I'd love to see those available for placement in the storage bookshelf.

GENERATION 26: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.

I fixed my problem with the bookshelves not being detected by the Enchantment Table. I had to put the contents of the Enchantment ZIP into the jar manually. It would not work in the mods folder.

Okay, I'll add it.

Again, people. I have no computer right now, I will update this mod as SOON as possible :(
I currently have a laptop with no cooler, and a desktop with no CPU.
So whenever I can afford a new coolor or a new CPU, you'll get the mod update (soonish)
So sorry :<

Nice to see you post again snore. Can't wait for you to get that update. I am still eager for you to add new things as always. If there is anything I can do to help, other then give money, let me know! Also, I would recommend getting an adfly account, that way, you can make some money off your clicks to help pay for things like a new CPU!

I don't wanna make any profit off of this mod. I made it for the community, and I don't wanna make a single cent off of it.
Maybe later when the mod gets a LOT more content, I'll add a donate button
But never adf.ly.

Hope you are able to get your comp fixed soon!
Not sure if itll affect your mystcraft compatability but theyre changing the whole notebook system. though since you only deal with storing the books, it may not affect you at all

I would love to donate to you! But I am poor. Hence why I love mine craft, pay once, and you get all the mods the community can come up with. But what I can do, is disable ABP for adfly, to support the authors. What others have done with a similar dilemma, is have a direct link, along side  an adfly link. I only ask for you to do this so I can help support you as a great mod author, and help you on your way to getting better tools, to make your mods even better.

Very nice mod!

Altough I find 50 levels of storage for one book a bit much, maybe 5 - 10 levels?
or... make it adjustable in the config file :P

How about compatibility with the necromancy mod's necronomicon, thaumcraft's thaumicon, runic dust's rune tome, recipe guide, and other mods' books? You could also add in maybe some lore books with descriptions of the items in vanilla minecraft, or something similar!

The EnchantingPlus 1.11.1 enchanting interface doesn't seem to recognize the Storage Bookshelf Posted Image

Edit: tried a previous posters solution of putting the contents of enchanting plus into the minecraft jar... no change.

We can't wait until this mod has more compatibilities with other books from other mods, or even a config file to determine what item ids can be stored in the bookshelves. However, this will have to wait until sn0re gets a working computer to use.

Sadly, the enchanting bit is only upgraded for 1.4.4, not 1.4.5. One of the few mods that are not forward compatible this patch upgrade. But sn0re will be happy to get to updating these for us when she gets her computer working again!

I'm getting an error - http://pastebin.com/NLZTE1Zx

My current mods installed - http://gyazo.com/e84...8e28f4a16a48379

And yes it's forge. This works in SSP but not in my multiplayer server.

Mind if I ask what causes you to believe this is an error with enchanted books?
I am by no means the best at reading these, but here at the lines I am focusing on:

Quote

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraft.client.Minecraft

Quote

Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Attempted to load class net/minecraft/client/Minecraft for invalid side SERVER

Both of these lines say they can't find (from the minecraft.jar, you can look for it your self by opening the jar with winzip or 7zip or the like) /net/minecraft/client/Minecraft I think the problem is, the second one should be calling for net/minecraft/server/MinecraftServer, because it says its for invalid side server. But I don't see that this is an issue with this mod, unless I am over looking something. Try recreating from a fresh minecraft install.

If you have time, please make XPBooks Enchanting into a proper mod or at least a coremod. Thank you.
