Fishycraft just updated to 1.4.4.  We're looking for some new players to help us explore our map, build new cities and play with us.

We have an established community from the last 8 months and  a mature staff.

We're strictly survival.  Everything we build is legit.   Even our mods cannot /spawn or /give items.   We restrict /warp, /home etc by attaching a cost to it.  You can earn money for teleportation by mining.  

We have anti griefing and cheating tools and allow you to claim your own protected region to build in.

We have a monster arena and PVP arenas and a CTF game.

PVP is disabled in all but one of our worlds, a small skyworlds map where anything goes.

New players start out as guests, but once you read the /rules you'll be able to build with us.

Just to add to what fish was saying, on our website we have a rather large photo album (http://fishycraft.net/blog/?page_id=34), as well as additional info regarding the server.

We have a full staff (including several EU staff; we have a mod on more often than not), each of which has been hand-selected by either fishy or myself for their maturity and character.  All of our mods are 100% fair (or else they wouldn't remain mods) and most extremely helpful.  Most importantly, we're very strict on a few things - griefing, spamming, and being a dick.  I personally have a very low tolerance when dealing with these things - especially griefing, which is a 100% sure fire way to get banned.

Finally, we have a very established community that is extremely friendly towards new people.  First-timers are often greeted with a wave of 'welcome!' 's, and we frequently retain new members for months based on just the quality of our community alone.

There's nothing to it.   We don't have a white list.  Anyone can join.

Just make sure you're running the latest version of minecraft and connect to:  fishycraft.net    as the server.

This week on fishycraft we have two exciting new changes.

The first is a new rank system.  You can now gain rank and new commands in a multitude of new ways.



The second is, we've added a new monster arena: themines.

You can do battle against an endless torrent of monsters, in a dark abandoned mine.   Prizes rewarded for lasting through the waves.

To watch the battles you can:  /ma spectate

And if a battle is not in progress you can join with:  /ma join

After the round you can leave the mines with: /ma leave

We have a second mobarena in play: zombies!

In this arena you fight hordes of zombies.

Each wave has more zombies.  Your only weapons are a sword, some potions and TNT.





Like the other arenas.  You can:

join with: /ma join zombie
spectate with: /ma spectate zombie

and after a game, leave with: /ma leave

If you survive all 50 waves of zombies you win a diamond.  lesser prizes are awarded for other waves.

We are hosting a pixel art contest this week!

This contest is being held in a creative world so no mining of materials is needed.

Everyone gets an equal size 49x22 plot.   Entries will be judged Dec 2nd.

A Christmas tree building one.

It takes place in the creative, contest world so no gathering of materials is needed.  Just built the best tree.
