Good 19" 1280*1024 monitor?

OP was pretty specific on the monitor specifications here.  That's the only reason I didn't recommend any 16:9 screens.

I'd provide a screenshot, but it would just look like a normal 1280x1024 monitor.

Then you have a wonderful black border all the way around the screen.  Not a terrible solution, but it does look kind of weird.

I was going to do this to show what it would look like (picture with a camera though), but I can't figure out how to turn off scaling.

Catalyst Control Center > My Digital Flat Panels > Properties > Image Scaling

I was about to ask how you knew I had an AMD card, then I remembered it was in my sig....

Here is sort of what it would look like (no clue what is up with rainmeter and how it is outside what should be the boundaries of the display)
