Server Information

HermitCrack has seen some good and some bad times, in the past 3 months this server has been in beta with a lot of testing to see how it would be best without griefers, but still with a decent amount of players. I myself have been debating with myself if I should use craftbukkit or vanilla. I tested both for about 1 month and it seems that the server was a lot smoother with the craftbukkit. The official server will run on craftbukkit for at least 3 months as of 10.11.2012 simply because to establish a great community we need to undergo griefings, and robberys...
Plugins:
I have decided I will use 2 plugins on the server whilst it is using craftbukkit. If you don't like the thought of having 2 simple plugins on the server then please leave now! None of the plugins will mess with any of the game mechanics such as fire spread or TNT.
[CoreProtect]
This plugin makes it possible for the owner to:
Identify who opened chests and what was taken/put by who
Identify who placed/removed blocks
Rollback griefs
Much more
[NoCheat+]
This plugin simply will prevent hacking such as flying or spamming. It may or may not autoban hacked client users and it may crash them upon usage.

I've had may problems using apps in the past, simply because every griefer can also make a legit app. It is hard to tell who is and who isn't a griefer and I don't want to disallow a non griefer to join the server. Now that I am again using the 2 plugins I am not so strict on my apps as I was in the past. Before I had a rule that you MUST have a YouTube channel or else you cannot join, now I am not going to add this rule. It would nice if you did have a channel and you would make a lets play but it is not mandatory If you have a channel I will feature it here. Now that griefing/robbing is almost impossible I will accept simple apps again. Please do not make a 1 line application or else I really might just not accept you if you cant even bother to make a proper app.
