if in wrong section sorry idk where to post it but yeah a cool lightsensor 1 wide and can be built, obv the grass is 3 wide for maximum eff

Looks like it changes a little too slow to turn on the lights in a timely enough manner to inhibit mob spawning reliably. I think that's why most other designs are larger. I don't know enough about this though to comment more. Are you doing anything innovative and different that other designs aren't doing?

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.

That video wasn't very useful. It's not clear exactly how to build it, or how it works, and I couldn't figure out why you kept placing and destroying that one block. Some commentary would be helpful.
