Free Server Host

Hello fellow Minecrafters, I am offering a free Minecraft Server Host. I currently have a server computer

sitting here with no use at all whatsoever. What I am offering is full server service, with Desktop connection,

FTP access and SHH access. You will also get an optionally setup webserver(undecided).

If you are looking for a private server to win, I suggest you leave, I will only give this to people who hope to host a public access server. I will also not accept people who want this server ran on a windows machine.
Also, if a mod reads this, and it is in the wrong spot, please just move it, don't delete.

The List

This is what I am going to be offering with this service.

∙ A linux hosted server

∙ FTP Acess(FileZilla)

∙ SSH Acess(Full command line)

∙ Any linux distro of your choice

∙ Full server set-up with the plugins of your choice

I will not guarantee 24/7, due to the possiblity of any chance that the power will go out, the internet could go,
or anything in this fashion. Although, I do promise and exceptional uptime, and will basically be 24/7.

How to win

I really do not have contest or anything for you to do to set me up for winning this server, you guys have to get creative to win. Basically what I'm looking for is "What would make your server better than the rest of the servers out there?" or "What will make your server popular?" Dont just be like "can me haz teh server pl0x" you will not get it.

Be creative, tell me why it is SO important to give you this server, and why this server will help you or the community in any way.

I would just like to come in and say you are wrong just by pointing out there is no need for you to post a reply for no point what so ever.

Xcssizor, this is really rather generous of you, but it would but I think most people are looking for a 24/7 server.

However, could I get a slot in the give away? I am wanting to get a server but I don't wish to pay 40$ a month.

Edit: I would like this server because I am a deticated player and friendly user. I would like to build a server to bring joy to many people. I will advertise the server, and do everything I can in my power to make it better

How generous of you!

I would like to start an almost-vanilla server (bukkit) for around 30 people. It will be whitelisted and the only thing that won't be legit is the spawn. WorldGuard protection will be available and only one /sethome will be allowed per person. /tpa will also be allowed, but there will be a timer. I think is a thing everyone wants and the minecraft community need and want a server where the game is played how it's meant to be played.

And of course, you and I (if you wish to) will run the server together. This means choosing people to whitelist, maintaining the server, hiring staff and talking to players. I really want to make a friendly community. Thanks!

I would like this server so I can create a community that respects other players. I have played Minecraft since alpha and would like to have a server that is respected and respects back. I hope to make the server one of the best ones in Minecraft history. Thank you for your time.
