1. Not really necessary at this point in time, but would be nice.
2. No, the Nether will not be coming to MCPE as we have just gotten an alternative.
3. Johan said that he might start to work on them, but have come across issues.
4. Possibly in the next few updates.
5. I think that may be a while away...
6. Johan said that he hasn't included it in the creative inventory due to the possibility to lag out your device badly, but he did say he will make an experimental option for it though.

I  would say the devs should look to "survival craft" for PE inspiration, I recently checked it out in response to a post I saw on this forum and I was impressed with the content.

huge worlds (infinite?)
rain and lightening
fire
caves
dogs, bears, cows, bulls, birds...
huge selection of items, tools, blocks, etc...

If MCPE included all that is in this plus whatever additional features make it unique to MC that would be and impressive update (game).

don't misunderstand me, I love MCPE and will continue to play it (dislike the controls of survival craft), but I was impressed with what I saw in SC.
