I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.

It's that SiS drivers don't support Open GL very well, if at all. i.e. they don't meet the minimum requirements.

OpenGl 1.2 should be the minimum for running Minecraft. Make sure your hardware accelerations are at the max.

EDIT: Didn't worked.., and still the same problem in 1.4.4.

It doesn't matter what the driver SAYS it supports. It matters what it ACTUALLY supports.
The SiS drivers don't work right for the Open GL functions that Minecraft has been using since Beta 1.8.
The SiS drivers either crash or in your case, fail to render.
You have to stick with old versions of Minecraft or get a video card with better Open GL support.
