What sense would it make to take them out? Many people like the aspect of decoration mobs. Also bats have been in the game for over 2 months, why should Mojang simply remove them now? By the way, how can bats be annoying? They do absolutely nothing but flying around aimlessly and making squeaking noises.

Ok why i am not able to swim up under waterblocks? ... i can not even walk against a stream of water. Is this a bug? This never happend to me before.
