uhhh no idea. If it looks weird and out of place might be you. I don't see adverts, but iirc they're usually related to gaming or computer stuff.

When on mobile, I'll often see a palm tree sunset ad that links nowhere.

I think it is what MCF did a bit ago....

MinecraftWiki told us to scan a while ago due to a virus that went past the filter. It was discussed a lot in Forum Discussion, as well. Maybe the random plugin that installed itself was a hidden file?

Maybe, I've been getting lots of blue screen of deaths and crashes lately
But nothing shows up on virus scans and cleaning registery doesn't fix anything
Might as well get Windows 8 and fix it completely

Whenever I have that sort of problem, I just use system restore.
I did have a computer that completely failed on me once though, but not from any of that.
