Gee, you're nice. I was just saying from what I've heard, not my own observations.

Finally, updated my shaders to 1.6.2 they should now work as they did in 1.5.2 (with waving grass, water and everything).

Keep up the amazing work Karyonix!

GLSL Shaders Mod for Minecraft 1.6.2 Preview 3
Download link 1 (hotfile)
Download link 2 (mediafire)
Requires forge.
Incompatible with Optifine.

Before install
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher to run Minecraft 1.6.2.  Then close it.
- Install minecraftforge with minecraftforge installer. (download page)
I have only tested version 9.10.0.789.
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher to run Minecraft 1.6.2 with profile Forge.
Check whether everything is alright and close.
Installation
- Put ShadersModCore-xxxx.jar in .minecraft/mods folder.
Run
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher to run Minecraft 1.6.2 with profile Forge.
- Open Option menu, Shaders... button.  Click open shaderpacks folder.
- Put shaderpack in the folder.
- In Shaders screen click shaderpack name.

Normal map and specular map name
- Append _n.png or _s.png to texture name in resource pack.  It will end with ".png_n.png" or ".png_s.png" .
Example
- texture in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone.png
- normal map in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone.png_n.png
- specular map in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone.png_s.png

New features required for SUES v10.0 are not implemented yet.

Not yet for the 1.6 version, but 1.5 version you can.

Edit: If you meant the shader mod.

Im a not-so-useless useless player.

Confusing, isnt it?

Yup, I saw that the newest one on their forums was 804 versus the 790 that I had downloaded a few days ago and with 804 its working just fine thanks!!

With the LB Realism 256 bit texture pack, Sildurs RC3 NV Medium shaders and this mod.....2FPS.  Was kinda hoping my 2GB GTX650 Ti Boost, Phenom II X4 955 and 4GB of RAM would do better.

View Postnikarf9, on 08 August 2013 - 10:45 PM, said:

That card should run that pack decently. Try a 128x texturepack instead.

I'm using Sildur's AMD RC2.1 High on my AMD 6950 1GB (w/ unlocked shaders) around 15-20 FPS @ 1080p.. Found I had to turn off Advanced OpenGL otherwise I got flickering.. Playable at least, and it looks great!

Karyonix has a bunch of work to do before these releases aren't PRE anymore, I'm sure theres tons of optimizing, and definitely Optifine support coming back (which should be a big FPS boost).

Spoiler:

It looks like your MC162 Forge install is corrupt, or you modded the JAR installing something else?

Client> 2013-08-09 19:22:50 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The minecraft jar file:/C:/Users/Markus/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/versions/1.6.2-Forge9.10.0.804/1.6.2-Forge9.10.0.804.jar!/net/minecraft/client/ClientBrandRetriever.class appears to be corrupt! There has been CRITICAL TAMPERING WITH MINECRAFT, it is highly unlikely minecraft will work! STOP NOW, get a clean copy and try again!
Client> 2013-08-09 19:22:50 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] For your safety, FML will not launch minecraft. You will need to fetch a clean version of the minecraft jar file
Client> 2013-08-09 19:22:50 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] Technical information: The class net.minecraft.client.ClientBrandRetriever should have been associated with the minecraft jar file, and should have returned us a valid, intact minecraft jar location. This did not work. Either you have modified the minecraft jar file (if so run the forge installer again), or you are using a base editing jar that is changing this class (and likely others too). If you REALLY want to run minecraft in this configuration, add the flag -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true to the 'JVM settings' in your launcher profile.
Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)

I would back up your mods/saves, and dump the entire .minecraft folder. Download a fresh MC162, and run it original. Then use the forge installer, and run forge alone. Then add in Shaders, and run with forge/shaders. Then add in your mods again. Then add in your saves.

Make sure you copy your save to somewhere else before deleting the folder.  If It wasn't for the recycle bin I would have lost my world.

I had a similar problem as well. My Forge and minecraft jars were not corrupt and I tried downloading fresh ones multiple times. The only way I was able to bypass this was by adding the JVM argument it tells you to add to ignore the invalid certificates. However I did not try a complete wipe of my .minecraft folder, as adding the JVM argument worked.
