Various optimizations and tweaks.
You can now see damage through walls again, however, the default range has been reduced significantly. This will increase performance on low end machines, and prevent popoffs from being annoying.
Texture loading is now done via an alternate method. Possible fix for those with the white texture bug, but no guarantees.

not to be mean or anything but it said you read my mail yesterday and you never replied is it a no?
I only noticed it after I hit it with a splash potion of poison II and then left the game and reopened it, if that is of any help. It's not my texture pack that did it, it still does the same in default. Also, I am using Optifine; do you want me to list my other mods as well?

The previous version like 2.4.3 was the skin is still white, but usually when the skin is turned off the texture/background behind the player or a mob is also white but now its fixed
I know, it sucks... My mod isn't compatible with forge, and I love this mod...
guys deal with it a lot of mods are going to be the way the only mods that would probably use mod loader is really bad mods unless mod making gets harder then we would probably have to use mod loader again but forge makes everything easier if you need to know how to install it look up a video if you get an fml error look up why that simple
The Enderman's head is missing. It's not a game-breaking glitch, but is is annoying to say the least.
This is another one of those impossible to recreate bugs. A couple of other people experienced this(a long time ago) but this is not a priority at all. It is extremely rare and near impossible to reproduce, not really worth spending a lot of time working on a fix.
This mod's really useful especially with the Custom NPCs mod because you can see the health of NPCs so it's really useful for kill quests and such. But one annoyance for me is that it generates this random file called skin on your desktop and it kind of annoys me cause it's really out of place there. So if it's not too much effort, do you think you could change where the file is generated?
If i ever hear a better reason to, other than, 'i dont know how to install forge', i will think about it. Modloader mods work with forge, but forge mods do not work with modloader, so you might as well use forge anyways.
Because some custom plugin servers aren't compatible with forge, only modloader
First you will have to wait for a texture pack creator to make some

Almost all modloader mods work with forge.
