After a weeks worth of work, I present to you - Slender's Forest!

Requires Minecraft 1.4.2+

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Open the zip file you've downloaded.
2. Open Minecraft, click on Texture Packs, OR go to %APPDATA%\.minecraft\texturepacks.
3. Copy over the Slender's Forest-v0.1.6 zip file to the Texture Packs folder.
4. Go to %APPDATA%\.minecraft\saves, copy over the Slender-Beta0.9 folder into the saves folder.
5. Go back to Minecraft and switch your texture pack to Slender's Forest-v0.1.6.
OPTIONAL: Set the recommended settings (look above)

Mac OS X:

HOW TO OBTAIN THE KEY

Spoiler:

A villager patiently waits beside the start of the road. Once you have obtained all 8 pages, approach and interact with this NPC. He will stare at you and magically appear-ify the following GUI:

You must then hand over the pages one by one, he will verify the integrity of the pages and hand you a key piece for each page. Once you obtain 8 key pieces, go to the next page of the GUI.
The Slenderman has taken away your crafting prowess, and so you must rely on the magical villager to craft it for you. Hand over the key pieces you just obtained to let him craft the key.Then, place the key on its designated spot on the other side of the road. Activate it and see the wonders...

Sometimes when you break the map on the truck, you cant reach it even if you jump

Plus, mods rely on their creators, so I would have needed to wait for the Slender mod to update. More reason to get this map.

Fixed breaking the map on the truck and the bats. Can't replicate the multiple endermen thing, care to give a screenshot (or a video)?

Intended. Otherwise the villager might accidentally 'reload' and remove the key pieces -> key trading.

Found it. Extra endermen only spawn if the first one that exists is out of the spawner's range. Will try to fix.

You should make a texture pack for this map so the enderman looks like a slenderman I have no idea how, but thats just a suggestion

Whats with this batroom? I cant do anything and the dispensers just spawn bats till the place is crawling with them. I tried it twice. Is this supposed to be the "awesome" ending?

Ah, sorry, maybe I overexagerrated it. What do you suggest a replacement ending could be?

I dont know... if youre "not supposed to win", maybe make it a slow death. Just spawning bats till 250 and more of them in a tiny space make Minecraft lag... is somehow "meh". : /
Of course, i looked everywhere in that room to look if i missed something. Since i couldnt break anything i tried to remove the eggs from the dispensers, but they were spawning so fast i couldnt even click on the other dispensers after the third one. First time i played in hardcore, second one in normal mode.
Except for that everything was fine. Maybe it would be cool if there would be a way to make the enderman stalk you a bit in vanilla minecraft, but i can imagine thats a bit complicated if not impossible.
