The new gravel textue (I miss the old one). Why the hate for Obsidian? I luuuurve obsidian. I'm not to keen on bedrock either...

Gravel definately. Although it looks better, as in it went from Your Mom joke ugly to just something not nice to look at.

The old gravel texture was infinitely better than the new one, the new one doesn't even remind me of gravel.

I HATE netherrack It is the ugliest block becuase its pink (i hate pink) but atleast its in the nether..... so you WILL NOT see it often

New gravel looks almost like how cobblestone should look, IMO. So gravel is now one of the ugliest blocks to me. (I changed it myself since, tho) Old gravel wasn't perfect - just needed to change the hues, mostly.
Obsidian is kind of ugly, but it's not that bad. Explained: the colours are about right, but it's a bit too dark/flat - it screws up depth perception when looking at large swaths of it or structures made with it. Yuck.
And I've never been much of a cobblestone fan. (Love mossy cobble though)

Redstone lamps and The spore side of mushroom blocks. I like red mushroom houses the the inside with the spongy spores looks terrible.

I think that cobblestone is the most ugly block. I even prefer mossy cobble.
(note: the Australian animals mod does not include any biome additions/changes.)
