The only feature I like is the enchantment combining. That is a silver star for Mojang.
I just thought I would share my thoughts on the anvil and hopefully you have some opinions as well.

I was experimenting with the Anvil and got these test results.
Wood, Stone and Gold swords can be repaired for 1 level.
Iron swords are 2 levels to repair. Diamond Swords are 17 levels.
It costs 15 levels to rename any item that cannot be stacked. It costs 5 levels each to rename stackable items.
Potions cost 5 levels to rename.
I'm still experimenting though...

Griefing is such a strong word... I prefer 'tampered with'.
