Added a new Anvil block for repairing, merging & naming items
Three different damage states: Anvil, Slightly Damaged Anvil, and Very Damaged Anvil.
Renamed Chat Settings to Multiplayer Settings
Contains the old chat settings menu
Option for cape-owners to hide their capes ingame
Tweaks to debugging
F3+H now shows tool and armor durability on damaged items
Now shows which cardinal direction the player is facing on the f value
The pie chart on the F3 overlay is now shown when opening it using shift+F3 instead of vice versa
Mobs no longer forget that they are aggressive against a player in Creative mode after a few seconds anymore
Creepers now can have custom explosion radius and fuse timer using edited mob spawners and NBT tags (ExplosionRadius & Fuse)
Effects given by the Beacon will be less intrusive on the screen
Breeding for xp, if it is extremely nerfed, sounds nice. I haven't played on the snapshot yet, but if you get a bit of xp from it, it could be dangerous. Maybe a really small amount would be good, because, like Etho, he has an island of cows that he breeds. That could be dangerous. I put my trust in Dinnerbone that it will be not-so-easy to get lots of xp from it.
Experience from breeding? I do not approve, as you can now practically farm xp out of (almost) nothing. XP from smelting was so-so, as you can farm trees to get charchoal to get xp. Getting it now will be almost too easy I think.
Xp takes a long time to get, the levels that you can gain will probably be low. Just gives you a reason to want to use a game mechanic.That and the game does not fall around you. Don't like it? Don't do it.

That's what I was thinking too (Similar to team fortress 2's scoring system.) I was also thinking that since the anvil will cost experience to use we will need more methods to gain experience. (Not to mention this method makes sense since it is closer to your home, where your anvil is normally located.)
It would be awesome if an anvil shatters glass and uses 1 diamond/iron/gold/stone for an diamond/iron/gold/stone tool/armor piece
I agree with the repair system is still over all a bit wonky to say the lease.... I am more of a fan of using resources to repair equipment and not by consuming another equipment item =/. Besides the Naming and Enchantment merge, nothing with repairs has changed.... T_T

Vechs makes adventure maps. I'm pretty sure Kellybyb is referring to the new creeper feature
