Installation:

- Install Risugami's Modloader.
- Download the zip file of the chosen mod.
- Put the zip file in your .minecraft\mod directory (if it doesn't exist, create it).
- Start the game.

SMP:

mccahon crafted a SMP plugin for SuperSLopes, you can find it there.

It includes Slopes and corners for realistic rooftops and diagonal walls.

Edit : To craft wool slopes, you will have to give them an ID in the "KaevatorSuperSlopes.props" file in your .minecraft\config directory.
Then you have to craft white wool slopes and the color them with dye.

Timber framing allows you to decorate your outside walls with different wooden frames and to make wooden structures such as bridges and barns.

[1.1]Wallpapers v1.2

This mod will allow you to craft a new item: the wallpaper, and place it on your walls as a decorative texture.
This way, you can have two different faces of a block decorated with two different texture and customize the bedrooms of your house without having to add new blocks.

[1.7.3]Ceiling stairs v2.1

This mod allows you to craft a new tool - The saw - that will cut most of the blocks to give them the shape of upside-down stairs, corner stairs or 3/4 blocks.

To create the new blocks, you will first need a saw:



When right-clicking on a planks, cobblestone, glass, sandstone, dirt, stone, sand, blocksnow, grass, brick, gravel, gold, steel, obsidian or diamond block, you will circle the 4 different types of stairs as shown on the next picture:

This mod will simply allow you to craft shears which will accelerate cutting leaves or drop leaves blocks on right click.
The second provided tool is the pruners which helps you craft 4 different shapes out of your hedges.

I had recently the idea to make a mod allowing to harvest leaves and create hedges. I saw on MC Forums that I was not alone waiting for that and that it didn't exist (tell me if I'm wrong).

So, here it is : Kaevator Hedges & Shears!

This mod will simply allow you to craft shears which will accelerate cutting leaves or drop leaves blocks on right click.

Shears:



Shears will allow you to drop hedge blocks by right-clicking on leaves.
Right-clicking on a hedge block will give you a corner:



Pruners:



Right-clicking on a hedge block with the pruners will give successively three different shapes to your hedge:



If you missed the shape you wanted, too bad you have to cut again...

Just one quick query - will this mess up my saves? If I use the sloped block, will my save be unreadable by a non-modded version of Minecraft?

For the K3 version (which allows the creation of sloped blocks), if you use these new blocks on your map, it will become unreadable by non-modded versions unless you delete all these blocks from your map.
You can try with a new map to make sure there will be no irreversible arm done to your work.

Personally, I like minecraft as a 'block' game, and introducing triangles is not what I'd like, but I can understand why people would want it, why it would be useful etc. I even wanted it myself at one point, but began to like minecraft in all it's blockiness. But kudos to you for actually making it, and I wish you luck with it.
