My minecraft launcher will not connect to minecraft.net. Everything else works (firefox, ie, my xbox360) I cant figure out why it wont connect. Tried thru the minecraft launcher and the technic launcher and regular launcher says cant connect to minecraft.net and technic launcher says unable to authenticate account with minecraft.net. I tried logging into minecraft.net on the internet just to make sure i had my password right and it logged right in. i am a complete mine craft noob. Can anybody help?

Yeah. Its not there because i tried uninstalling and reinstalling minecraft and it still hasnt connected so there would be no last login. Also on a side note the game is not downloaded so i cant even play offline or tweak anything in the jar because it doesnt exist. But still i tried running as an administrator and the same thing happened. Thanks alot for trying to help me though. Been 3 days since ive been able to log in. Gonna see if i can find the good old fashioned minecraft.jar online and see if that runs properly....Ill post an update
I Tried running the minecraft.jar i downloaded from minecraft.net and still wont connect....This is really getting frustrating. Im about to just play some xbox minecraft for a while. Hopefully the problem fixes itself but i doubt it.

I just thought of something......My system is dual boot so im gonna try running minecraft in linux and see what happens.....Will post results
No deal there ...... Wont connect from linux either...It cant be on my end ive tried everything there is to try. Must be something on mojangs end. If thats the case how do i get it fixed being as theres no way to contact them??? Any suggestions?
Heres an update...... I bought my brother a gift code (mainly so i could get the contents of a .minecraft folder) had him rar the whole folder and email to me and i replaced the contents of my .minecraft folder with his. Minecraft still wont connect but now gives me the option to play offline. If i go to multiplayer after selecting play offline all the servers are there with Current active statuses but when i try to connect as it wont connect to minecraft.net it tells me bad login. But this also means that my client IS connected to the internet!!! but atleast i can play on some cracked servers in the meantime or ssp to get my fix...But please ....Cracked servers suck....I want my minecraft back
