Can I find these mobs in the wild ?
Nope. They must be bred ! So get your wheat growing, what are you waiting for ?

I can't breed my (*insert entity*) with (*insert entity from this mod*)
The breeds can only breed with their own kind. you can not breed (*example*) meat cows with leather cows, etc.

Nice. Posted Image Focus on getting it to not edit base classes, and you've got a winning mod here.

What you may want to consider for that is domestication. Domesticate the animal somehow, which will turn the animal into an entity you've created, allowing you to have full control over it. Similar to how doggy talents works.

Sounds cool. I like breeding and will try this out. Do you have different textures for the baby animals or only for the adults.

When a baby is spawned, it is tamed already, and its actually a mini version of the adult. the model got changed.
So yes, they look like their bigger themselfs :P

The only thing I edited in base classes are the pig, cow and wolf to be able to spawn the second breed. It won't be fun if I left that out :/ They would have no use anymore. I can't do it in an other way.

Have you looked into using Forge? Anytime you can get a mod out of the jar makes it better for compatibility.

Test it in creative mode. Spawn a bunch of cows and pigs and make them mate. if you havent got a single new breed then contact me again.
Please check the What are these breeds? part, and do not forget to look at the stats.
And what kind of animal do you try to breed ?

How to download?
On the big blue DOWNLOAD button.
Other mods needed?
What is that question ? When do you need to install another mod for one to work ?
Please post more information in your topic. Others will be confused.
I think its completely useless.

(facepalm)
Its a stand alone mod, no other mods are needed.
And it's modloader. simple drag and drop install with modloader.
I'll add it, but I think it's completely useless.

I have only been woorking in Creative Mode. I spawned two regular pigs and then started to breed them. I have 72+ pigs that came from the two regular pigs. They all look like normal pigs.

Check the miscelanious tab. If there aren't any new spawn eggs shown then the mod isn't installed right.

edit, i just tested the mod, i have it installed on my own minecraft.
I spawned two pigs, and the first one I got from breeding was a 2nd breed pig.

I checked and there are the new spawn eggs. I also tried using one of the spawn eggs to spawn a 2nd breed pig and it spawned one.

Then you had 72 times the first breed XD
Have you tried with normal cows or wolves ?
Try more.
also, try with a texture pack of higher resolution. This way you will clearly recognize the new breeds !
