I know some of you out there are too lazy to read, so you can watch this video instead. Cheers,
EVERY CRAFTING RECIPE CAN BE FOUND BELOW
Ever felt like there wasn't enough weapons in minecraft? Only swords and bows and splash potions, only 2 that do actual damage on contact, and to an extent lava buckets, flint and steel and TNT. This mod adds new weapons to minecraft, a whole new way to fight mobs.
Syringes: By hitting a mob with any non-empty syringe, it will give the mob/player the effect it is set to for 30 seconds. There are four effects: Poison, Slowness, Weakness and Vulnerability.
Javelin: Javelins are new throwables in the mod. They do 5 damage (2.5 hearts). Although the crafting recipe is cheap, they expend your sticks and cobblestone quite quickly. Note that second degree burners and third degree burners will burn them up.
Glass Sword: Lame idea right? Not at all. If you don't need to inflict an effect for 30 seconds that's 1 use, you can combine an empty glass sword with a syringe of your choice on the crafting grid, and the glass sword will inflict the effect for 5 seconds for 10 uses. Note that you cannot block with this sword.
Bombs: There are 3 kinds of bombs, light, heavy, and projector bombs. They are throwables that inflict 1 damage (0.5 hearts) of damage on contact, but also explode. Light bombs explosion strength is 3/2 (1.5) of the Ghast fireball explosion (1), and heavy bombs are the strength of a creeper explosion (3). Heavy bombs also have more gravity than light bombs. Projector bomb's explosion inflict 1/2 of a heart, but they have an extreme knockback. What's also great is that the bomb does no damage to the thrower (with the exception of the 1/2 heart on-contact damage and projector bomb's 1/2 heart explosion), which makes it great for rocket jumping (you can only rocket jump with the projector bomb), and not killing yourself in close combat.
Glass Balls: Glass balls are throwable versions of syringes. You may ask, "Well, that's basically a replica of splash potions". They are not splash potions. They do not have an area of effect, but can be thrown much further, and they can inflict the vulnerability effect, which is actually level -10 resistance. To fill a glass ball, you combine it with any non-empty syringe in the crafting grid. On hit, they inflict their effect for 25 seconds and do 1/2 heart of on-contact damage. You can even throw empty ones.
Fire Charge Launcher: Personally, this is one of my favorites. Fire charges should have probably always been throwable, but there's already a mod for that, so instead, you use a fire charge launcher to shoot them. There are two kinds: Normal and Upgraded. Normal is normal, what you would expect, however upgraded can shoot a Ghast fireball. Both have the durability of a bow. To shoot, you need a fire charge. Also, if you have the upgraded fire charge launcher, it will only shoot a Ghast fireball if you also have a gunpowder in your inventory.
TNT Launcher: Again, this is also one of my favorites. Shoot TNT everywhere! You craft the TNT yourself though. It has the durability of a bow.
Radium Ore/Block/Ingot: Radium ore can be found underground, like all other ores. It is pretty rare, but not as rare as diamond. When mined, radium ore has a small chance to poison you, explode, or both.
It can be smelted into an ingot which can be crafted into a block with nine radium ingots, also which is safe to mine. Radium ore and block can only be mined with a stone pickaxe or better.
Radioactive Cactus: Cacti is hardly dangerous at all, however, a radioactive cactus will also inflict poison for 3 seconds, vulnerability for 2 seconds, and weakness for 7.5 seconds. Radioactive cacti will not grow, but can be stacked just like regular cacti. It is planted on sand just like cactus, and cannot have any blocks directly adjacent to them.
Flashbangs: Flashbangs are another throwable item. They explode on contact, do no on-contact damage, but their explosion does damage terrain or mob, and neither does it have knockback. However, for any mob/player inside the radius, it will inflict blindness for 10 seconds, nausea for 13, and slowness 4 and a -10 jump boost effect that prevents the mob/player from jumping.
Flamethrowers: A close-range weapon but not exactly melee. Flamethrowers, unlike some other flamethrower mods, spew out fire the way they are supposed to. They use gas tanks as ammo. Gas tanks can be filled by using them on gas collectors. Gas collectors will only collect gas if they are y=30 or lower, have 8 blocks of space around them that is air horizontally and a 3x3x3 area of air above them. They collect gas faster if there is fire under it (ideal placement explained in blocks section), but even faster if the fire is burning flammable materials as opposed to netherrack or blocks that aren't destroyed by fire. Right-clicking a gas collector with a blaze rod will consume the item, but partially fill the gas collector. A first degree burner takes up the least ammo, but does the least damage, second degree burners take up more ammo and do more damage, and third degree burners do the most damage but are ammo hogs. Gas tanks are reusable. All flamethrowers will melt ice, ignite tnt, flammable blocks and other blocks, but other non-flammable blocks won't be set on fire that often. Second degree burners will also melt cobblestone, and burn up javelins. Third degree burners will melt obsidian. Primed TNT's fuse will drastically decrease while under fire from second or third degree burners. Another thing to note is that afterburn damage is normal for the first degree burner, increased for second degree, and highest at third degree. Second degree burners and better will also burn up javelins, creating a decent anti-javelin defense.
Suicide Helmets: Just like a regular helmet. Apart from the fact that if you get hit (even snowballs), you blow up.
Pseudohelmets: This one took forever to make. When worn, they are completely invisible. You can also disguise them as any vanilla helmets except leather (chain, iron, diamond, gold) by combining the helmet you want to disguise it as with the undisguised pseudohelmet. When you take damage, you get resistance 3, night vision, invisibility and fire resistance. Also, a fake dead body appears at your location. You drop all the armor you are wearing, apart from the pseudohelmet. If the pseudohelmet is disguised at this time, it will drop the helmet it is disguised as. If it's not disguised it won't drop anything, just removed from existence. The item that you're currently holding is dropped as well. If you don't understand anything, it's basically a 1 use helmet that can be disguised as any vanilla helmet except leather that fakes your death when you take damage.
Wither Skull Launcher: Right-click, shoot a wither skull. The normal (not upgraded) will only shoot normal wither skulls (not wither skeleton skulls!), and the upgraded does the same as the normal. With one exception. If you have blue wither skulls in your inventory, it will shoot those instead. Note that the ammo ((blue) wither skulls) cannot be dispensed by dispensers. Both have the durability of a bow.
EVERY THROWABLE CAN BE DISPENSED FROM A DISPENSER
