Hey Soar I changed the powered rails, maybe you can use it. I hope you like it.

It's very easy to revert to the old texture on your own. Just open the old version of the terrain.png, select the gold texture, and copy+paste it over the one in the new terrain.png. I personally like the new one better, and I'm sure Soar made the change because he did too so I doubt he'll change it back.

thanks, is photoshop good enough to change it?

For Soar (and fans), I made a texture for the Connected Textures Mod to match with the original Soartex glass texture. So far I've just done the glass, as that's the only thing that I care about. I can do the rest if people want.
you can get the file here, just rename it to ctm.png and drop it in the Soartex 1.0.2.zip.

looks nice

Yes, Photoshop works fine for making changes to these files.

Also, my link above... forget about it. The author of the CTM mod changed back to an old version that uses a different format for the glass texture so it won't work unless you happened to download 1.2 when it was up. :(

Looks nice, I'm using them :)

Speaking of which, has anyone made nice diagonal rail textures?
Fast example, I made:

I don't have skills to make it good enough though :(

Hope this is okay, and if not I will promptly remove it, but I decided to go ahead and throw something together for the trap doors. It isn't perfect, but it will do as a placeholder until Soar updates it. Anyone who wants to, feel free to use it.

Great texture pack, I love it!

If you'd like, I'd be happy to fix some of the errors on the front page for you, make it a bit more flowing (I'm pretty good at English).
PM if you'd like me to do that for you.

For those of you that use Soartex and CTM, you can get the file here, just rename it to ctm.png and drop it in the Soartex 1.0.2.zip. http://i809.photobuc...ow/ctm4soar.png

I'm not posting this anywhere else, all credit for original glass texture goes to Soar. Soar, if you want to include this in a future update, or modify it, it's all yours. You can have full credit. If you have an issue with this, let me know and I will take it down immediately. I am not gaining anything from this, and I'm not including it in any other project. I just made it for my personal use and thought I would share. Thanks again for such a wonderful pack. :)

Note: The texture only contains the glass change. I only installed that component of the CTM mod for my use. If you install the bookshelf, chest, and sandstone components, this will not look right unless you edit those textures as well. Right now it's just a resize of the default template, so they really look horrible but the game won't display them if you don't install that component. Right now it's just using the Soartex textures for those 3 items.

I am negative for adding to soartex the parts which other persons made.
Since I cannot speak English, I require time and effort for exchanges of a right or updating very much.
Moreover, unless it sees the completeness of finished goods, it cannot make a definite promise to add.
Therefore, introduction was added to the top page for the time being.

I do not understand introduction of Connected Textures Mod one now, either. lol

Well, it is that I can welcome all the modification if creation of the patch to Soartex1.0.2.zip is possible ...

...To the test, I made now. It succeeded!

http://dl.dropbox.co...1659538/ctm.EXE

If ctm.EXE and soartex1.0.2.zip are put on the same directory and ctm.EXE is run, it will be displayed as normal termination.
If it succeeds, ctm.png will appear into soartex1.0.2.zip.
This is good!

I had not read this.
Although read, I was not able to understand. Is it better not to carry out introducing?
For the time being, it stops introducing.

Yes, I should delete the post. The version of CTM I made that texture for is no longer available.

In addition, after some extended time with the mod, it began to show a lot of visual errors and I have decided to stop using it. :(

I'm not going to post the full terrain.png, as that wouldn't be right. But for those of you with a proper image editor, here's the changes for 1.7.
http://i809.photobuc...rterrain17s.png

You need to delete the texture that's for the sides of the bed (not the top). Then just open this file as a new layer. Save as a .png, and it's 1.7 ready. It's just up scaled default textures for the pistons, nothing special, but it will do until Soar releases his update.

I did all of that, but it didn't work. :( I did it in GIMP, and made sure the layers were exactly aligned.

That's strange. Well, you can still cut+paste the parts from the image I linked.

Does Soartex require the HD Patcher? If so, then my guess is that Minecraft is no longer HD texture ready since you updated it. You might want to try patching it again, although the Patcher might need to updated for 1.7 as well.

I love this texture pack I added the default textures for the shears and pistons to make it work in 1.7! This is by far my favorite texture pack. Posted Image OH! And you edit the texture and add pistons/shears use texmix mod!

I have used other HD texture packs with no problems.

I just tried cutting and pasting, but it still didn't work. Can't someone just send me the file?

Edit:

I just realized why it wasn't working. I was zipping the soartex directory (soartex.zip/soartex/terrain.png), and not its contents. However, though pistons are now working, the sides of cake are missing.
