==================================================================
This is the area I'm working with. All of the snowy area on the left and all of non-tree area in the middle of the map. The Artizian Plains, will be somewhat of an up-scale medieval-esque/fantasy build (hopefully) featuring a lot of intricate detailing. I'm going to be learning a lot during this build and pushing the limits of what's possible with stairs and slabs. The entirety of this build will be legit. Clearing the land took me axes 5-7 diamond axes (with enchants) and netted me about 5 double chests of wood (oak/birch).
The beginning of the outer wall's towers. Status: Finished
Building the actual outer wall. Status: Finished
The outside wall was started on Oct. 9th and finished on the 24th. They carry the design from the towers quiet heavily. I've also done some minor terra-forming although it's pretty hard to notice in the screenshots. I will need to do quiet a bit later on too.
The Gateways. Status: Finished
These pictures have been updated to reflect their finished state.
Terra-Forming/Other Status: In progress
I'll be touching up areas when I get to building more later on, for now I want to smooth out the terrain and make a more manage-able landscape for when I get around to building the castle. If things look a little bland at the moment just remember there are no trees and this will not be accurate of the final product.
Castle/Palace Status: Building underway. - Planning underway.
I've decided upon the size of the castle - 140x100 blocks. There will also be a library, storage, and frankly I don't what else wing that will extend out from the side of the castle. I would like a rather large and elaborate library though, so something along the size of 60x60
Planning - I use creative for this.
Towns/Villages Status: Not started yet
Anyway that's what I've got thus far. If you have any questions feel free to ask them and I will answer them as best I can.
Feedback is welcome and appreciated
