The Farlanders


This mod adds more creatures to the game allowing the player to have more choices to trade and more enemies to battle.

Awesome! I have been looking for a mod that adds more Villager NPC's and this hit the bullseye!

Oh, and the install instructions say classic endermen.

I like this along with your other mods. They fit Minecraft well.

EMERGENCY EDIT| I am Using Forge and I keep getting this message on any of your mods.

Tried to register an Entity tracker for a non existant entity.

Could you possibly make a forge version of your mods when you can?

Yep, I know the issue with Forge Posted Image College consumes most of my time and I only code for Minecraft on weekends, if possible. But I'll be taking a look at Forge, don't hurry, but for now all my mods only work with Risugami Modloader.

Do the Farlanders play nice with the Testificates or do I have to put them in seperate Cages?

This mod is just great! One question, though. Will the Farlanders walk away from their home, or stay near it? Because mine are sort of walking off. Also, maybe have villages and more types of houses in them, and have one obsidian pillar in each one as a sort of obelisk for them? I hope you consider my ideas, and answer my question. Thanks!

Edit: Maybe ender pearls to breed them automatically?

Wow guys thanks for the reviews! One thing I noticed in NerdZander reviews is that the small huts are spawning way too often, which isn't supposed to happen! I'll tweak this asap.

Yep, more types of houses is a must have. Initially it was supposed to be a biome full of Farlanders but if it was like that trading would be easy. As for the pillars, I had them too, but removed because I didn't know what to do with them at that time... Here's a screenshot. The idea of breeding with some item isn't bad at all but it can't be Ender Pearls! I mean, killing their own kind? Posted Image At night they walk around and sometimes they can go a bit to far from their homes.

Ender Colossus Golem attack Villagers or Iron Golems but Farlanders are friendly and only run from animals.

I shall Prep my  walled city for our strange guests so when they arrive they don't have to go far to find shelter.

Will Iron golems maul the Farlanders, and will there be some kind of intereaction between them and standard villagers at some point.

The interaction Idea would be interesting... even if it is just Emote particals to simulate speech.(I still wonder why that hasn't been done yet... Villagers talk to each other, to a farlander, and vice versa.)

The mod has an incompatibility with the forge modloader; It apparently attempts to register an entity tracker for a non-existant entity. It might also just be an issue with the mod itself.

Version 0.1 is available! The previous breed system was a somehow bugged so now you can make Farlanders breed using a Melon Slice. If you find the ores or the houses spawning way to much let me know! For more info check the change log :)
