Now that we can attach NBT tags to items, can't we make placeable spawners for each mob? I don't know exactly how tile entities work, but I thought they used NBT tags.
Instead of adding more item id (can be used in the future) Why not make it like 52 = pig 52:1 = chicken 52:2 = cow etc. etc.
So...
52:1 = pig
52:2 = pig with Speed I for 0:01
52:3 = pig with Speed I for 0:02
52:4 = pig with Speed I for 0:03
52:5 = pig with Speed I for 0:04
52:6 = pig with Speed I for 0:05
52:7 = pig with Speed I for 0:06
Damage values end at 32767.
The possibility of different spawners is literally infinite.
So not to be that thread digging guy, but I'm curious as to what the damage settings are for the Zombie, Skeleton, Spider, Cave Spider, and Blaze Spawner is. MCEdit isn't an option, Raw hex is. It is just like wool.

1. It is not helpful to your suggestion to say things such as "lick me" or excessive caps. That makes people think you are an idiot., not a legitimate person making a legitimate suggestion.
2. Instead of new block IDs, why not just add metadata for it? Would be so much easier, like how dyes are 351:1,351:2... spawners could be like 52:1,52:2... As it would save a lot of space, readjustment, and would in general make this a lot more malleable.
